Just rang Sky, threatened to leave and join Telewest and they've given me 3 months at half price (£18 a month instead of £36), and told me to ring back in 2 months and they'll see what they can do for me again. 0870 8502801 is the cancellations number and it takes 5 minutes - their arse goes pretty much straight away - if anyone fancies it.

Ring and tell them you're shifting to Sky man. They'll sharp find a special deal to put you on - point out their current introductory deals and say you want some of that to stay with them. I'm gonna do the same with Sky (half price for 3 months is their current effort for new customers whilst the old ones get fleeced).

If you're buying from PC World ALWAYS look on their website first for what you want. I've bought things from there that were £120 if you just went to the shop for them, but £80 if you paid for them online to pick up instore.
