Ah aye, the situation hasn't even fully played out yet. But, unless Trump backs down, any US business relying on Chinese imports is about to fall over. And the cost of consumer electronics, which the yanks fucking love, are about to go up a canny chunk.

Agreed. I think people are forgetting how hard it was competing across four competitions last time. We can't flog Isak through all of that, so DCL as a third choice striker makes a lot of sense. He won't be commanding a massive wage either cos of his injury record.

His blue collar support is going to be the worst hit by all of this. If they continue to believe him, more fool them, but safe to say he's lost the other 18 to 20% of the electorate that got him over the line this time. They were only voting for him cos they thought he'd be good for their wallets and, well....

The real United v Manchester reds - Thy choicest gifts in store

Man United are hopefully the perfect combination of nominally still a big club, but also not very good. -
Aye we'll definitely not be untouched by this. But fucking hell, we were all hoping for something to bring an end to this stupidity from the American people. If this doesn't teach them their lesson about Trumpism and his Trumpalikes, nothing will.

IT'S A SAFEGUARDING ISSUE!

US economic reputation trashed in 2 weeks. And it's indelibly linked to one man. Bessent and Ludnick can fuck off as well. If Scaramucci is to be believed, these are serious blokes who've known all along it was bollocks, and went along with it because power. I don't think they'll be welcome back on Wall Street any time soon.

My first ever report.

Trump has properly fucked it. The Chinese hold a significant proportion of US government bonds. Apparently it was the Japanese selling theirs off the other day that started sending yields upwards, and he had to pull the plug. He's escalating a trade war with the only country in the world that doesn't need to back down, and that can really fuck his shit up by dumping their holding. What a shame.

Relatively low risk if he's a) free and b) a rotation / bench option only. Everton wanted him to play every game, and he couldn't. We won't be asking that of him.

More of that at the weekend please.

Nice one, that's fucking great news. -
He's been the one man band in a struggling side. Could just be down to that.

Hope your job is safe Alex. And I'm sure you're right, the dickheads are continuing the job of the Tories and Musk and demonising civil servants. The stupid cunts will probably make a load of people redundant and then have to pay consultants three or four times the amount to get work done.
-
Fuck I've just seen there. Are you impacted?
-
We know we're going to be competing in 4 competitions next season. We need a squad that can do that. That's all that's happening.
-
No it doesn't.

I don't mind it. Its a cheaper way of having a back up CB than signing another one. No one is suggesting he's going to be the answer but we are light at CB and it'll cost more to bring in cover than it does to retain it.
