  1. Also they showed enough in the last 10 minutes to suggest that they could have got themselves back into it if we'd taken too many backward steps too early in the second half. Their subs made a difference.
  2. Been doing my head in. The dog is fucking terrified of them. A very very easy win for the govt would just be to ban the sale of fireworks to the public. Only the sort of cunt that already votes Reform anyway would object. My MP was up in Parliament this week requesting a debate on it.
  3. I genuinely like this bloke. He seems like a total breath of fresh air, particularly compared to what we've seen from Labour and Starmer the past year. And you never know, Mamdani was polling at 1% a year ago. If you give people something to believe in, you can go a long way quickly. Christ knows that the current lot are giving us NOTHING to believe in.
  4. Marseille beaten at home by Atalanta last night and on 3 points so far. Mind, they've played: Real Madrid (A) Sporting (A) Ajax (H) Atalanta (H) So not the easiest run of games. Ajax at home is the only one they've won so far.
  5. Take no notice of anyone on here, you're doing all the right stuff with your life.
  6. They interviewed Paul Dummett in the room prior to kickoff. It was a bit depressing at first cos he was talking about how difficult it is training by himself and how he doesn't want to retire yet. alright Paul, keep it light! Anyway at the end he was asked who the best manager he ever played for was. Eddie Howe, and a couple of stories about how class he is. And who was the worst.......? A couple of beats of silence and he goes "how's the bacon did you say?" "Enough said" says the bloke interviewing him.
  7. 1892MEDIA LIMITED people - Find and update company information - GOV.UK https://share.google/CXY5j3vzZZKiiPekm That's where the True Faith patreon money must be going. Corporate seats for the staff. Must be nice.
  8. Gordon looked injured to me like. He was grabbing his hip a decent amount of time before he went off.
  9. I went out and checked the seating plan and their table was 1892MediaLimited. Is that the club do you think?
  10. In the Heroes Club and who's here on their own table but Tory Boy and the Spaniel. And no one is telling me this isn't on the club.
  11. I used to go out with a lass from over there and always enjoyed visiting. This is the North as well. Her mam lived in Bangor and her family were all great too. Belfast feels a lot like Newcastle, I always thought. Her uncle was a prison guard in the Maze Prison which must have been interesting.
  12. Yeah in the same way you'd go to the lakes. Don't pack your swimming trunks and factor 50 but there's loads of beautiful countryside to see and nice food. If you like corned beef, cabbage and potatoes.
  13. FAILED in the Spurs ballot. So far the only match I've been offered tickets for from the club (Fulham) is one where I didn't even enter the initial ballot for it cos I wasn't a member at the time.
  14. Aye, she pines for Saturday games that will see him arrive home late so she doesn't have to sit through him openly masturbating in front of Strictly.
  15. Cuomo won Staten Island. Seal it off from the mainland ffs.
  16. @The Fish If, for some reason, you wanted to spend more money and you wanted a full size guitar so it lasts him for longer, Faith guitars are good. They're all solid wood, ie bits of wood cut from a tree rather than ply or laminate, which is unusual for the price point, and the brand is the brain child of Patrick James Eggle who's a properly well known UK luthier. They're made in Indonesia but so are most guitars these days so that means nowt in terms of quality. Their parlour guitar has a small body which would be easy for a kid to handle. See link below. Faith Guitars Naked Series Mercury Acoustic in Natural - Andertons Music Co. https://share.google/X3EuLvGz9tWsyZ9uU I've got one of these in the house which actually belongs to my mam, but she gave up trying to learn. It's a nice sounding guitar.
  17. Less stuff to buy as well. No amps and shit. This'll be decent enough. It's a proper brand rather than something you'd get from Argos, and it's a 3/4 size guitar so it'll be more comfortable for starting out on. Yamaha JR1 3/4 Acoustic at Gear4music https://share.google/M9RhVrdDloDoljIHO The Taylor Baby BT1 are nice smaller guitars too but they're double the price of the Yamaha. Tom's right though, he'll need lessons to get the basics under his fingers. You can learn a lot online for free from places like justinguitar, but at 6 I assume he's not gonna be up for that.
  18. And are we talking electric or acoustic?
