  1. "inviting invitations" Taylor DESERVES to lose her job to AI.
  2. Yeah I think Howe is gonna have to find some way of playing him and Wissa up front. He's brilliant coming short and we know he CAN get goals, but there's a lot of time the wingers are breaking at pace and he's got zero chance of getting into the box to get on the end of anything. Saying that like, Kane has built a career scoring a terrifying amount of goals doing the same thing so maybe it just needs longer to work on.
  3. Slot is starting to look like another Ten Hag, and the best thing is that Liverpool will stick with him for longer than they should cos they won the title under him last year. Not that I think that was much to do with him. There's nowt better than watching a super arrogant Dutchman come unstuck. It was great when it was Man United, but it's gonna be FUCKING DELICIOUS watching the same happen at Liverpool.
  4. Osula has an ankle problem according to Eddie (he had it before he came on yesterday) so I suspect we'll be flogging Nick again for this one. He looked a bit like he could use a rest yesterday for me.
  5. Line from the Geordie Journos: How brilliant is it to have that? To be able to look at the bench and just go "Throw THE BESERKER on".
  6. I thought Thiaw was really good yesterday btw. It's crazy how easily and quickly he's adjusted to the PL.
  7. Went through the exact same thought process. Wouldn't mind hearing the audio between VAR and the ref to hear the horrible dawning realisation that they're gonna have to upgrade it to a pen.
  8. Starting to wonder if Isak is the problem, or whether he's just got a completely shit manager who can't hold a candle to Eddie Howe.
  9. They've pulled one back just before half time there. Hopefully it stops like this though, and we can only be 3 points smaller than the big lads.
  10. What a wonderful set of lads Brentford are.
  11. They're not arbitrary man. They're based upon thousands and thousands of headers and shots from the exact same spot in the box, and the frequency with which those chances ended up in a goal. Anyway, I'm not involving myself in this again. If the biggest clubs in the world are fixated on this statistic, that'll do for me.
  12. Because you're overestimating how often those chances get scored. Bruno's goal was 0.46xG, Murphy's was only 0.12. So there's still 1.5xG to share amongst those other chances.
  13. You're being an arsehole. Sorry, but it needs pointing out.
  14. I don't think anyone is blaming another generation for their ills. They're just pointing out that, on the biggest, most valuable asset any of us will have in our lives*, boomers more than anyone alive today, have made out like fucking gangbusters. Nobody's fault, but it's true. And being locked out of ever owning an asset which only ever rises massively in value is absolutely devastating to anyone's prospects of getting ahead. I mean how do you retire if you can never get rid of your monthly rent? I'm hopefully 10 years from retirement. It's something I really look forward to. I can't imagine what it would be like to feel like that would never happen for you. And people wonder why there's a mental health crisis in the young. *if we're lucky enough.
  15. Aye, if he had never been here, nobody would even give him a second thought.
  16. You've only got to look at the surge in voting for Reform up here at the last election. The crowd in SJP is probably a decent cross section of the local population. Sad but true unfortunately.
  17. I mean, have you heard of cookbooks? We sit and do this every week, plan out the full week and order the shop online for delivery. It's my lass mostly these days, but I used to do it previously.
  18. Was mentioned earlier that there was booing. There'll be a decent chunk of our home support that think Farage is the second coming tbh.
