It was like a solar eclipse when I'd finished with it!

But Scotty it's that tape we made last time I was in toon! It's not my fault you don't want the world to see you're a bottom.

Between reddit gonewild and all the porn sites, it's a wonder pornographers make any money these days! Over in the football forum I put a link up with some old VHS recordings, I've found a few more but I'm not sure if there is any interest? If there is I can keep adding to that link.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER
sammynb replied to Sonatine's topic in Newcastle Forum
Yeah we are okay. A bit like your lot, our's aren't taking it to serious and the local tories are making a pig's ear of getting the info out. But as of last night we are in phase 2 lockdown, schools are open but pupils don't have to go (state gov overruled the federal cunts), only essential things are meant to be open but somehow that include hairdressers and shops for shit people just don't need. -

Squires' take on the situation. @PaddockLad you'll know why this is so funny. https://www.theguardian.com/football/ng-interactive/2020/mar/24/david-squires-on-premier-league-managers-under-lockdown -
Our state, New South Wales, shutdown all non essential services as of midday today because people just wouldn't listen and kept going out to pubs, cafes and the beach. But still our Tory national government doesn't want schools to shut. Turns out they were warned weeks ago to do this straight away but they were worried about the economic effect - stupid cunts, it's going to be far worse now but they are still more interested in cutting spending on public health and "small" government ideals.

Anyone else tried to watch Maradona in Mexico? Almost a Sunderland Til I Die with the hand of god, not as funny.
-
Yeah liked End of the Fucking World but I Am Not Okay With This makes my teeth itch. I'll try another episode just in case.

I was looking forward to finally seeing Mike Bassett on Prime but the cunt Australian version doesn't have it or Next Goal Wins, which is awesome if you get a chance to see it. Is that really okay? I've watched the first couple of episodes and it feels like you need to be a menstral teenage girl to enjoy it.

I'm just hoping to get to the other side of this shite. I've got a suppressed immune system, the work I had lined up for the year has all been cancelled (even though I could have worked from home the actual shoots for the shows have been cancelled) and the only work I can now get is casual in a network news department that you have to do on site, dealing with reporters who are out dealing with the general public. Oh just to complete the kick in the balls we've been getting ready for a renovation and pumping all our extra cash into paying for an architect, engineer inspections, council fees, etc.

WTF? When did Sunderland become a city?

Alex, his last two solo albums have been great as well, I'll flick you copies.

He did and it's sad that cancer got him a couple of years ago. IMHO Bob Mould didn't find his best song writing until after Husker Du. It's brilliant that a punk band with an openly gay man and his openly bisexual band mate were as successful as they were in the early to mid 80s. I saw these guys on Firday night, with covid-19 spreading like wildfire it looks like they could be the last international band I get to see for a while.

The gambling fat cunt will be wishing he took the Saudi's money and fucked off now. Season is done. The bin dippers will be declared champions (and thankfully they will never get to actually feel like they won the league), the bottom three won't be relegated (for legal reasons), the Premier League will have to return 25% of their TV rights to the broadcasters and everything will be reset/start again for the 21/22 season, with lots of money lost in-between. Mr High Street will also lose money hand over fist with the arse dropping out of retail. It's probably the one way he will be forced to sell up without the club dropping down a divison or two.

RIP David Roback

I'd disagree Tame Impala peaked at Innerspeaker and have been riding the wave ever since. Half the allure is that Kevin wahtshisface never does any press so they all think he's the next Pet Sounds era Brian Wilson. King Giz are riding the same wave, except they do release the occasional new gem, problem is you have to sift through 3 albums of shite to find it because they release so much. My last three purchases.

@PaddockLad I've got a copy. Bought it when I was in London in '91. I think it popped up on one of the MBV re-releases that happened over the last few years.

Newcastle United: Club Sold To PCP - Official
sammynb replied to The Mighty Hog's topic in Newcastle Forum
Highly unlikey. It's all well and good for English speaking countries to take a feed directly from Britain (although the US would probably want US based commentary/pundits) but there is little chance the Premier League would want to invest in extra facilities/commentators to cover alll the non English speaking customers, especially when they are already getting a squillion pounds from these broadcasters anyway. The only reason there are rumbling is because someone thinks they can control the pirating of games but they will never stop that even if they are packaging it themselves. -
Gloomy, problem is he's a proven lying cunt!

We can all chip in and buy long a extension lead if they want to stay green and use electric power tools.
