    Memory

Stevie, I know I'm only a scouse in the sun but man start taking some fish oil daily or flax seed oil if you don't do fish. Similar happened to me a few years back, it was fucked but after a couple of weeks of 3000mg a day and the memory was back. Also make sure you buy a decent brand fish oil, one that is tested for heavy metals.
  4. Like Bramble, he's sure to be a crowd favourite once his boat anchors at the stadium of shite.
  5. Shawcross. I watched the replay for the game last night and Stoke are just such cheating cunts, constantly grabbing and wrestling players to the ground - never being called on it by the ref. It's almost like watching Gaelic football or aerial ping pong where the ball is secondary to the game half the time.
  6. The period of the game where Nasri was tearing our left side a new arse was an example of the problems created not having a left footed defender as a LB, tbh of not having a left footed player in the defence or midfield.
  7. 2oooj St Pauli is well worth the effort, although they are having an average season. Been to Dortmund's ground which is an amazing stadium but not for a Dortmund game. Hertha Berlin are worth a visit but beware the local schnapps, can't remember what it is called but fuck it can do some damage.
  8. I swear this was the receptionist at my dentist the other day! Seeing this pic, I probably should have asked her what the chances were of a root canal
  9. The tracking back when we were 1-3 down spoke volumes for the Anita's attitude.
  10. Definitely. Playing a team that wants to play football gave him the perfect opportunity to show his ability. Build up a bit more strength and he'll be able to play like that against all comers.
  11. Not saying Williamson will ever be a first team player but would he look half as bad with a decent fullback to the right of him?
  12. On a similar note, for a lousy $400 Australian pesos I bought a near new one of these last week (they are around $1500 new). http://www.aja.com/en/products/io-express/#overview Perfect for capturing HD, SD and analogue video.
  13. He is literally days away from arriving in Sydney for shows, tickets must not be selling. btw he has a new album ready but was dumped by his label and cannot find anyone willing to release it for him.
  14. Short of Christmas present ideas for the lass? How about a new bikini?
  15. It was, you're correct (as confirmed by the vinyl copy in the cupboard. I thought it was but for some reason read the other day it was 1990, turns out that was a re-release) and unfortunately you took the orthopedic shoes back.
  16. Super Fuzz Big muff was released in 1990. Daydream Nation is a great release and where as it was cited by everyone in the 90s, now it's forgotten.
  17. See he builds his own tables/beds now! http://penkilnburn.com/paintings/1/
  18. What's worse is he recorded a bunch of stuff for BD, which was to be part of the song/release played when Drummond was able to get the leaders of the world, (eg the US and Russian presidents) on stage together with him (BD) in a celebration of world peace (this is serious and if you know anything of Bill Drummond it will come as no surprise). Then 10/15 years later, it recently turned up on someone else's release because Bill sold it to them, with GLee receiving nothing, not even a credit.
  19. And the later is the work of Graham Lee from the Triffids. Back in the 80s they were regarded as very indie but listening to them now it's almost alt country, especially the first 3 albums - Treeless Plain; Born Sandy Devotional; and In The Pines. Cass McCombs work features slide and pedal steel with Catacombs; and Humor[sic] Risk worth the effort - even with his American spelling. edit: Graham and the rest of the Triffids were the studio band for Bill Drummond's first release, an alt Scottish country album The Man.
  20. Same, in Sydney circa 1991 and it was the first time Flea's dad, who lives in the south coast town of Nowra, saw his famous son play. Absolute shite. Janes Addiction the same year were just as crap. Best and worst - '89 or 90 Sugarcubes 1st show in Sydney was amazing, the next night at a different venue, the Sugarcubes 2nd ever show in Sydney was horrendous, it was hard to believe they were the same band - that's how bad they were.
  21. Actually it was Russell Morris but hey you're English you wouldn't know. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQ8d2EB435Q
  22. Did you ever notice how dirty some people's mirrors are?
