Seeing their history with the national team it's not likely is it? I could just see him flying up and down the right wing playing the way KK wants. Why? Does he have a think for wurst and bier? Or just dirty clunge?

Mmm, maybe it's the convict in me but when it comes to rap and/or hip hop I have to say Australia got all the sportsmen. Personally I've always been drawn to the UK variants - Tricky, UNKLE, massive attack, faithless, even PWEI skirted around the edges of rap/hip hop (kind of). Have to admit I've seen Grand master flash, Public Enemy, body count, Beastie boys (but who the fuck knows what genre they are this week) and Ice T a couple of times and they are all great live but maybe the fact they were composing song on subjects other than how so brother is gunna fuck so hooooooooooo, yeaaaaaaaaaaah, I said hoooooooooooooooooo, yeaaaaaaaaaaaah. Or pop a cap in me ass! If you must try the australian joke version of hip hop, Sonic Animation were pretty cool (very tongue in cheek), I have a mate who constantly claims the hilltop hoods are worth a listen.

To be fair, I don't think there are that many who would be available and really adding quality to the team. I agree about the general sentiment though. Most German players (or in case of Berbatov from the Bundesliga) adapted to English football quite well. One thing that has always gotten me, is people say a lot of South Americans don't adapt to England very well and to avoid them as much as you can. Yet from my eyes a lot do go to Germany and seem to settle in quite well. There are loads of South Americans who have failed to settle in Germany, namely players signed by Bayern and for example most recently Carlos Alberto at Bremen. I wouldn't say there is that much of a difference between England and Germany in general. Just because of different work permit regulations it's just easier for German clubs to sign Brazilians etc. Because of the larger number of players there have been more players who were successful (without the large number of failures being noted outside of Germany). Alex is right though. The biggest successes have been those players who were signed by Leverkusen (Jorginho, Paulo Sergio, Emerton, Lucio). Through their connections with Bayer they had close links to Brazil and indeed looked after them as good as possible and minimising the number of failures. That also begs the question, was Santa Cruz a success in Germany or has he just taken to the premier league better? It's not as if Blackburn are a better team than Bayern Munich. I still wish the club would (try to) sign Bastian Schweinsteiger.

I'd be happy if got himself an assistant!

I've often wondered why there aren't more Germans playing in England. It's not as if they'd have trouble adapting. They like beer. They like sausages. They have a thing for golden showers. And everyone loves Dad's army and Hogan's heroes. Maybe it's like any creative, who are moody, lazy and tempermental types but inclined to offer up a moment or two of magic until someone drives it out of them with a regimented plan. Not really German or English traits I suppose.

Lived there until 2002. Recently emigrated to Perth, Aus, but really miss home. Just have to persuade the wife to move back. Didn't mean to cause offence with thread, just a bit of fun that's all. Can't beat a bit Dread Zeppelin tho Mr T Classic Yeh they are mad as fuck. An Elvis impersonator for crying out loud! I saw dreadzepplin about 15 years ago at a small shitty dive of a pub. Not only were they funny as fuck but as musos they were tight. The bass player was getting this amazing sound out of one of those kids 50% scale guitars, jumping around in his nappy. And Tortelvis is about 4'10" and make wacky look like a giant! Gaffed on sideburns anarl Adam Franklin - bolts of melody Get see him on Saturday night for the first time since swervedriver broke up. fanfuckingtastic!

Then do the smart thing and fuck vista off and install XP on it - it will run faster and generally be a better machine without the crap called vista on it. Paws, second thing you do is email Acer direct in Taiwan (their addy is on the acer web site), they don't like bad feedback and watch how quickly it gets repaired.

What the fuck is this post? Are you trying to tell us Ashley is personally sending out letters to other clubs telling them they can't stand? Or is today April 1st and you're on a wind up? By the way everyone knows his new shirt says Keegan 1 (out the door). I didn't say he was sending them personally, I said he was the owner of a club that was doing so. In other words one of his employees is sending out letters to clubs stating their allocation will be cut if they persist in standing whilst the gaffer does the same thing himself. Has he been hoyed out of any grounds for standing yet? Used to happen to me regularly, in fact most seasons at the smoggies! Ok, let's look at the facts. Aren't they by law or at least the FA rules required to make supporters sit? He may own the club but he isn't involved in the day to day running or posting as this case may be of the club. Have you actually seen one of these letters? FCUM, you usually actually have something interesting to say but I really don't see the point of your post unless you are complaining an us and them mentality. Regardless, what's the likelihood of your team ever filling an away allocation at St James Park? So stand all you like!

HF, you haven't started the day well have you? Remember, English is my first language. Engrish is my first language. Ingrish is my first language. Agree with the sentiment btw.
