  1. I think the last person on the internet who doesn't know must be me. Can anybody give me a clue? Club and shirt number, nothing too obvious like.
  2. Is the game on TV? If so, which channel?
  3. I was under the impression that Tiote was recommended to us by Steve McClaren, so if anybody deserves a finders fee its him. If true, then Tiote is hardly a scouting success.
  4. Aye, insomnia is the man that you want to sort out that dressing room spirit. A players player if ever there was one.
  5. Couple of things; you don't ignore me, you froth at the slit if anybody replies to your banalities, especially someone who disagrees with you. The point (yet again) is not that you've posted things about Carr, it's that you post other people's articles as if they're your insight, as if you have an original thought. You are right, in one respect, I don't post a lot in the football side of things because a) I agree with a lot of what's posted and I find streams of "I agree" to be tedious I don't know as much about the financial side of football as, say, Matt or Chez c) I've not got the encyclopaedic memory of games and players from decades ago that, say, Leazes or Craig does d) I don't go to enough games to really put my two-penneth with regards to matches that aren't on tv AND I'm fully aware how the tv never shows the whole story anyway. So lads who go to many games won't have me telling them that they're wrong because I watched the game from my sofa and thought Mike Williamson was awesome. I have no problem contributing to "Who should we sign" and "what is do we think about this football story" or "that game". I'm in a position to do that. To be honest I tend to stay quiet unless I see someone making a tit of themselves. It just so happens that you do, and you do it often. You live close enough to attend every home game, you earn sufficient that you could afford to go, you work in a career that should afford you plenty of time to hear a myriad of opinions from which you could grow your own... and yet to trumpet the party line, you post articles by journalists as if they're both fact and t(more galling) an opinion you've always held. Fucks sake, in the article you mention in the link above you're saying it's nice to see a good bloke like Hughton in charge, yet the moment he was sacked you leapt straight in to say how clever the hierarchy was to get rid of him in time. You're full of shit CT, like every other cabbie ever. You're a cliché and it's infuriating that I allow it to bother me. Doesn't infuriate me. I quite like the fact you can't get your knickers untwisted.
  6. All of this leg work on the continent when Dean Sturridge will be on his bike for a bigger, more expensive name, who'll be half as good. He'd do me for a start.

Not while there's a chance they can fit somebody up for it. And keep the PC squad happy.
  8. I hate these tarts who mimic a booking to the ref.
  9. 50 mill or 15 mill, I have little confidence that pardew would spend it well.
  10. That the mother is a fat fuck insensitive to insulin is probably the cause of the problem, yes, but that is not the issue they are addressing in this study. Trying to protect the baby is the focus.
  11. "Patients at Liverpool Women's Hospital will be given the drug to reduce the food supply to their unborn babies" You're alright with that are you? Without having looked at the study myself, the IRB must have approved it so, yes, I'll defer to their judgement of the scientific rationale and potential clinical benefit. Has Chez hacked your account? So, sniffer is happy with babies in the womb having their food consumption tampered with. [/braveNewWorld] What, you mean the french bloke? I don't think he has but you can never trust a frog, we all know that. If you read a bit deeper instead of going with the sensational headlines, you'll see that the issue is maybe that the fetus is programmed to be obese because of exposure to excessive sugar because of the mother's insulin levels. Thats what they are attempting to address with metformin. Seems a reasonable theory and one worth evaluating. Bit more complex that just eating fish and chips and a large pizza a day although that doesn't help. Keep searching the headlines, Parky. This one is done.
  12. "Patients at Liverpool Women's Hospital will be given the drug to reduce the food supply to their unborn babies" You're alright with that are you? 13. Refresh my memory, Parky. Where did you get your medical training again?
  14. I was under the impression he'd been on loan or was that before he was injured? Has he not played since then?
  15. He is 21 this year, the game is meaningless, we have absolute shite up front in ameobi, lovenkrands and ranger, he seems to be lively after a good loan period so why not play him? Other teams are putting out 18 year olds to give them a chance. Let's see what he's like.
  16. They've already said the Carroll money has to cover incoming fees and wages. 2 x £5m signings on 30k/week over 5.5 years and it's nearly all accounted for. which is probably what we'll get. Sadly, some people think this is moving forward and is how a big club like us should be doing things. Or 10 mill on carlton fucking cole locked into a five year deal.
  17. The cunt was probably on his way to England but stopped off in Tenerife for a holiday. Fortunate for us that his natural tendancies kicked in before he got here. Unfortunate for the poor woman, but no doubt he'll be out in a couple of years having been deemed to have paid his debt to society. Whatever the fuck that means.
  18. Hernandez easily. VDV is hardly an inspired buy as he was offered to Spurs partly because they are a london club and the location suited him.
  19. Good man? You have to be fucking kidding me.
  20. Aye one of your eighties icons. Enough said really.
  21. Having seen nothing of him other than this, it looks like he can actually play a final pass. Maybe jonas needs to take a look.
  22. I said years ago, that if Scotland got independence, the north of England would be better off going in with them than staying part of England. As far as I'm concerned the midlands south is a shithole, overcrowded with people who look down on the north and have done for years. Its just a matter of time before they drag us down to their level. I should put this in the what I've been right about thread. By the way, it was never called the Glasgow Fair down here. It was always called Scotch Week.
