  1. Not sure what you mean. What I mean is that I'd rather have people say you might win trophies but you have a shite stadium. I could live with that.
  2. Stadiums mean fuck all to me. I'd swop the current ground for the old one in a heartbeat if it meant silverware.
  3. We've had this debate before and it boils down to, as a supporter, how do you define "success"?
  4. We are a bigger club than you, you nonce of a man. Why would he go there? Please tell me. What you laughing at you fucking victim of Thatcher's steelworks closure cunt??? Tottenham are currently better than Newcastle financially and clearly in terms of playing staff, but the history of the two clubs aren't dissimilar, and certainly we have a bigger fanbase. They couldn't even fill their little stadium till five years ago Certainly agree with Stevie here like. I fail to see how anyone could think Spurs a bigger club? Achievement are similar between the two clubs. They have 8 FA Cups and won the old league twice. Couple of European trophies. But in recent years (Premiership), NUFC has done more in the way of European exploits etc. Fan base is much larger for NUFC as they struggle to keep up with the bigger London clubs. I don't really see what can be argued againt that? I'd agree that we have a bigger and more passionate fan base that fills a better stadium. European exploits is just a way of saying we won fuck all and doesn't equate to winning trophies so I'd say they are more successful than us.
  5. Nowt like backtracking quickly just in case he's successful here.
  6. Considering they see him in training every day, its more likely that he is just fucking useless.
  7. Tony Green wasn't a winger.
  8. I'd love to see a compilation of ameobi's misses this season.
  9. You are missing the point. Which was what you think and what you say are two completely different things when you are in any job. Even professional football.
  10. Aye but money talks and FMA is all ears.
  11. If we had a decent forward who could do something with some of the balls Barton has put through, he'd have even greater visibility. I do believe he's as good as any midfielders in the current England set up judging by the way they perform for the national team.
  12. Just kidding. I hope it goes well.
  13. Here's a tip, get somebody else to organize the fun. Not you. After pizza, don't gather the kids in a circle for a game of.......Right, lets imagine you are on a planet looking at the monument in Newcastle through a telescope..... Mothers won't appreciate picking up kids who've stuck pencils in their eyes to get out early.
  14. I wonder how long it'll be before she gets her kit off in Penthouse?
  15. I'd live there for 20k a week or whatever he is on. And I'd say I love every minute of it. How dumb can he really be?
  16. nobody cares if he's a bell end. But is he a bell end that can still be arsed to play?
  17. Did anybody go to see Ian Hunter last year? If so, what was he like?
  18. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-12235237 The actions of some muslims should not tar all muslims....but those few can't be labelled extremists. She wants the moon on a stick. I know I shouldn't, but I will anyway. The way she's using 'moderates' and 'extremists' is wrong and is obscuring her real point. In what's quoted above, she's referring to the, how do I put this, religiosity of people by talking about moderates and extremists. She's trying to say that there's an incorrect tendency to associate peaceful and law-abiding Muslims with Muslims who aren't particularly devoted to their religion, and that sharia advocates, terrorists, etc (those we would label as 'extremists') are those who show high devotion to the religion; therefore, the obvious correlation is that Islam is in fact an inherently radical religion, since those who don't adhere very strongly to it don't have problems integrating into society, while those who do show strong devotion to Islam end up marching in the streets in Bradford. Obviously this is an incorrect correlation, which is what she's trying to make clear, but doing a bad job of. You will find plenty of political moderates and people who have integrated just fine into Western society while still keeping strict adherence to Islam. The main point, which is that anti-Muslim bias is mostly given a hand-wave in the UK is one that I don't think I'm qualified to talk on. I haven't spent great lengths of time in England for a long time now, and when I do go back, I associate with people, mostly family members, who obviously don't have any problems with Muslims. But I will say that in my experience on this board, and I'm not talking about Leazes or sniffer or any of the other obviously problematic individuals who have axes to grind (in the former case) or don't have a fucking clue (in the latter case), derogatory comments about Muslims seem both more commonplace and more acceptable then comments about other races or religions. Three years living in Bradford gave me plenty of insight mohammed. Having a knife held to my throat by half a dozen pakis because their sister wanted to out with me also helped me formulate an opinion.
  19. I'd prefer to see some of those fucking muslims on the end of a stick.

    Hello

So everybody just assumes that Jan is a female and not a dutchman? Not that that would bother some people on here.
  21. Can't be true. Stevie hasn't posted it
  22. Beye was a solid player but thats about all. Not great by any means. Seems to have shown his true colours in being happy to train, pick up a cheque and watch the match..
  23. 24 mill for Bent is a joke. They'd have been better off sticking another 11mill on and trying for Carroll.
