Ive put martins as the target man, with balls being played for him to run onto, and he is absolutley smashing them in this season, scored 15 in the last 9 games compared to 3 in 12 previously.

Almost word-for-word tbh and horribly all too predictable. The old addage 'that performance was not good enough for (club x y or z)' must apply to the Toon more so than any other 'top' club. As far as I'm concerned it's the worst indictment too as it's just another way of saying the team has players that are good enough to win but they just a) have been sent out there without a clue or simply haven't had the desire for it. It's something that you should really never have to hear more than once a season. Incidentally, Wigan are a team of 11 doormen tbh. Agreed, not a good episode at all, I've found all the episodes based on the other island with the others dull as fuck, I much prefer the ones that leave you wondering what the fuck the island is all about IE the polar bear, the daft smoke monster and what the fuck the numbers are all about. Yes I have been drawn in by its surreal qualities...Has elements of "The Prisoner" to it in some ways. thats 40 minutes I'll never see again, what a fucking waste of time that was
