1. Rare to see the human side of the lad. Always aware there was more to him than the guarded assasin he was in front of goal. And good on him. In this day and age why should he reveal his private side to everybody we do not have a god given right to know everything. Nobody said he had to and the less you know about someone the more intruigin they are anyway.
2. Cheap? At £6m? 147575 one word.... boumsong... his socks are better than boumsong.
3. I have just got back from my hols and noticed this piece of news, i am sorry but he is better than at least two of the CB we have, yes we need players for the left and right, but i cannot believe we have let a good player like huth going to boro and a cheap i will bet. smacks of another brilliant piece of work for NUFC. Track a player for season after season and when he is available say we have good enough quality there. NOT
4. Never missed bellamy, too much of a prick, and believes in himself too much to the detriment to the team.

6. cheers mate.... i have one which is a stormtrooper doing a pevlic thrust dance as well, couldnt make my mind up to use that or the outrun...... outrun won in the end...
7. For a club with the fourth highest turn over of income in the world, surely we could get the fourth best manager and a half decent team...
8. two games a season...... my god get him signed thats two more games than moore....
9. ***new sven revelations*** HOT off the press..... aparantley SVEN is losing his hair and has been signed up as a replacement for shane warne and graham gooch for the newspaper adverts....
10. At least there is one consolation....... the other NE teams are doing shite as well..... if not i would really feel shit
11. does anyone know the link to the nufc media forums website, i have lost all my bookmarks and cannot find it....
12. You really have to be taking the piss, the last thing we need is that lazy arse back at Newcastle, the ignorant get has not got a clue, he might have had a good season when he started with us, but from then on he caught the "Ginola" bug and lived on his past glories...... if he came back that would be the worst thing to happen to this club for years, and thats above souness in the top ten of stupid ideas ever.
13. At the end of the day, shepherd has overseen the club, whether well or not, but he has supported whichever manager we have had here and has prevented us doing a financial implosion, at least the business side of him has kept us in a comfortable financial situation, i mean look at Leeds, they spent a fortune on the basis they would have qualified for the champions league every year and they just went belly up..... lucky not to have dropped 2 or three leagues at least we have budgeted each year on realistic targets and hopefully buidt up a good financial base to continue in this cut throat world of football..
14. i cannot see given going if he gets the contract he wants. At least i hope not.
15. without a doubt i would put parker as best of the season so far, followed by given, who has saved our embarrassment more times than i can remember (and he deserves parity on the wages front) and then i would say taylor or n'zogbia cannot make my mind up....
16. he can cult all he wants, he was never replaced on the right and i for one am glad to see him back.... should never have been allowed to go imho
17. it is a good forum as well, more people should use it...
18. I'd have him shot, we need to move forward not look dewey eyed at a wonderful rose tinted past, no matter how entertaining we were will still won bugger all, lost years in having no reserve team/academy, yes he WAS good then, but come on get real, that was the past and has no part of the future of this club, lets not make ourselves look stupid by knocking another few seasons off our history by realising too late we have nother mangerial casualty on our hands, we will be as bad as southampton before long, a manager a year..... Dont get me wrong i love KK but for what he did and lets leave it at that, you cannot catch lightning in a bottle twice......
19. Maybe i am in the minority here, but i do not want Keegan back at the club. Another backward step, a la Dagliesh. Yes Keegan did a spectacular job, and turned this club totally around, and i was absolutley gutted when he went. But the sad fact is, he as a manager is never quite good enough, he took us as far as he could, and bearing a little luck on our part we almost but did not quite make it. To get him back in would be a worse decision than initially taking on Souness in the first place. With England, and Man City he has been shown to be out of date and out of his depth. I think this time the decision for the next manager is probably going to be one of the most important decisions this club has ever took and i for one want to see an appointment which will see us move onto the next level, ie consistency and improvement, i do not see any of that with Keegan on board and see all this as a massive backward step, i hope to go this is all wrong because i fear for the future of this club if it is not......
20. anybody know the pplive link for this week.
21. with mr olikver we would know nothing.... anyway one word.......DEFENDER
22. He's an ugly hunch-backed Welsh dwarf though. 53321 Scored against the mackems, therefore legendary status is automatic. If I see him, the pints are on me. 53323 You can't polish a TURD is the one your looking for.
23. I read with amusement the comments on the way forward for the club. To believe the only way for improvement is to sack a manager while the season is ongoing, only serves to unbalance the side, being in uncertainty and putting us back on the merry go round of settling someone in, players in and out ie back to square one to start again. How many times must we throw a manager / back team staff etc to see improvement. Last season souness for most of it played the players of Robsons, yes i was sad to see him go and i hated the way it was done, but a lack of investment and forward movement and certain players moved on when they should (SOLANO anyone) over 2 previous season bore no fruit. I do believe we have a better squad now than last season and when the team are settled in we will see an improvement. I am still unsure about SOUNESS but he is trying his best and i will reserve my judgement till the end of the season, if by then there is no signs of improvement then fine, lets move on. Anyway people going on about Bellamy, and short memories, should remember he was not that prolific anyway and the team is better off without him, casued trouble wherever he has gone, it just took longer to surface at Newcastle because he got his own way. Oh yes that starwars avatar is fantastic....
24. no probs, i just stumbled on the program this week and throught this would be a good opportunity to see if it works....
