Allardyce dismisses player revolt speculation

How much of this though, is the papers stirring up a story. Yes i am not happy with the situation at the moment, but getting shut of BS is probably the worst thing we can do at the moment. I mean if we were prepared to give Souness and Roeder best parts of a season to gel, surely BS should have the same. If he gets the bullet we will become a total laughing stock. It will then confirm why we are such an unattractive proposition to managers. -
We only won one of those games last year. We're doing better this year. The stick that Shepherd (rightly) got for sacking managers at the wrong time was sanctioned by a group of arseholes like you who insist we're Barcelona. Quality line. Hear Hear, another change of manager is the best thing we can hope for in our quest to become a national joke. Stability breeds success, i mean ferguson was not exactly mega successful at Man U in his first season and they stuck with him to let his changes and devoplment move forward, and nothing Hughes has done impresses me anyway. If Sam moves on through unnecessary pressure before the end of next season i will be disappointed.

For Sportsmen, their life becomes disinteresting once they retire, so as long as they're retired, it's normally fine. For the top footballers details of life between 20 and 35 is all people want to know. I think it's the 'autobiography' tag I have a problem with. He should just call it a football book, and leave out the anecdotes about playing Golf with Jimmy Tarbuck. Who said its an autobiography? It's NOT an autobiography, its a book of photographs. So it's a book then........ is it an autobiography or a photo book, or does it have pop ups...

Getting shut of that watser was probably the best bit of business he has done..... better WH to pay for him to sit on a treatment table than us, he was one of the highest earners here...
-
at 3am i could only be bothered to look at posts with less than three replies, then snoozy time.
-
I am hoping this is the team building confidence in each other, and as they get to know each other the finishing and build up will get better. All in all though our best start to a season for quite a while..... makes a change not to be fighting our way up from the bottom of the table at the beginning of each season
-
hold on......is this a chairman speaking with a bit of common sense, this isn't right, this is Newcastle United.
-
I concur. At least someone else can pay him to sit on the treatment table for once. He has just not been good enough, and excellent talent wasted by a knackered frame
-
anyways loyalty payment should be the pay rise for his 18 matches a season
-
Explain to me how the deal collapsing was his fault dickhead? kiss your mam with those lips child
-
greedy fucker, a total waste of space, and if true another nail in his career, he deserves fuck all, maybe we should demand £2 mill for paying him a shitload of money to sit injured for most of his career here
-
no doubt we will give him away, and then he will have three seasons of injury free football....

Newcastle put Martins on sale to raise transfer cash

that seems a totally opposite report to every other one comin out of st james..... i thought martins was now expected to stay -
even after leaving the club, he shafts everything up as best as he can
-
roeder did quite well in his previosu role with us, and made a mistake stepping upto the first team and i would happily haver him back for that
-
superb, i upgraded from the medium package and since i have the v+ box it meant i was paying 50p per month less for the XL package and now i have setanta with a superb picture and no probs whatsoever, who needs that sky shit
-
First season he was fantastic, but following that he went the Ginola Route, believed in his own hype and made a career since that of being carried by the team. For all Souness's faults at least he noticed how ineffective he had become and how disruptive he was...... good riddance, never missed him.
-
i totally agree, for the first time in many a season we appear to be getting some depth up front, and if smithy wants to do the striker bit again, i am sure he will come up with the goods when required.
-
cannot be arsed to read the entire thread, but the question is.... is baines coming or not...?
-
West Hams fans are really off on another planet...... seems they are suddenly flush and are in for everyone.
-
i would prefer him to stay and give some strength in depth in midfield
-
according to 365 the deal is off as at £5 mill he is deemed overpriced
