How much of this though, is the papers stirring up a story. Yes i am not happy with the situation at the moment, but getting shut of BS is probably the worst thing we can do at the moment. First season he was fantastic, but following that he went the Ginola Route, believed in his own hype and made a career since that of being carried by the team. For all Souness's faults at least he noticed how ineffective he had become and how disruptive he was...... good riddance, never missed him.

i totally agree, for the first time in many a season we appear to be getting some depth up front, and if smithy wants to do the striker bit again, i am sure he will come up with the goods when required.
