  1. Wow, so glad I know that now...
  2. Don't worry mate, the board are more than enough to squash most people's optimism one way or the other.
  3. I think it's bad news, either that or stalling further.
  4. Ditch his sorry scouse ass back in the Mersey with all the other shite
  5. I'm of the opinion that people should be allowed to have the Robocop anti-theft systems fitted to their cars
  6. Damn Stevie, I only caught a brief glimpse of the thread title on my way through and had to come back
  7. I like Oba, just he's he's a luxury we can't afford in the Championship tbh. It'd be great if we could keep him (if he'd even want to stay) but I think for the level of football we're pretty much covered up front, the youngsters should be able to cope without too much problem. Am I right in thinking we have an abundance of strikers/forwards as opposed to other areas of the team? I'd take Ranger and Carroll up front, as well as some of the others.
  8. How attractive are Pompey ffs? These crazy Arabs are fucking mental, talk about picking the most wank, unfashionable teams going, first City, now bloody Pompey! Chuff me
  9. Aye, I have this horrible feeling it's all a smoke screen put in place so that when they can get out of making any financial commitment during the closed season then just as the next transfer window closes they'll say that the potential buyer has pulled out. It's just a ploy so Fat Ash doesn't haven't spend up and can send us even further in to oblivion. Fuck sake, why can't he just fuck off and die? Can't we attract a half decent owner who's willing to do the right things for the club and in good time for the next season? ... cunts, the lot of em.
  10. He can forget ever being associated with us if he does go there, probably thinks it's the nearest he'll get.
  11. Are we hated as much as Leeds? And if so, why???
  12. It's funny, on Sunday I was fed up with footy, didn't want to hear about it any more nor speak to anyone about it - now I find myself actually impatient to see how things are going to pan out during the course of the summer and reasonably excited about playing next season... just doesn't make sense
  13. See, even in the Championship the media love reporting on us - it must be boiling the piss of those Prem teams and supporters who hate us so much
  14. Good call, Boyd would deffo be worth a punt, could try and get him and McLean at the same time.
  15. You say it like we have a choice of the top players in the world...
  16. I saw that and it reminded me of why I never click on Vital Football!! Indeed, like I said, it was dubious at best - though some of them would be worth a shout for the right money. I wonder if Sidwell would consider a move to us.
  17. Just seen this from a dubious source: But yeah, I'd go for some of those as well as Aaron McLean, Jermaine Beckford maybe even Chops.
  18. If we get Carver back, Rob Lee in and ditch the high earning wastrels, as well as Shearer and Dowie staying on with a bit of cash to spend I'll feel quite optimistic about our chances. After a couple of days reflection I'm actually looking forward to what should be a more entertaining season for us (providing the right things happen soon). We've been lounging round the bottom end of the Prem for the last few years since Sir Bobby left, not doing much other than disappointing the fans. Hopefully in the Championship we'll kick back in to gear and rebuild the club to being better for everyone, there should be more excitement anyways.
  19. In my head Alan Shearer walks in to Mike Ashley's office, backed by a potential new owner and says: "March straight back to London stopping at every Geordie home you pass by to beg forgiveness for seven hundred and thirty one days of mockery, theft and destruction. Do that, and you and your men shall live, do it not, and every one of you will die today." "And before we let you leave, you must go out to the middle of St James, present yourself before the Toon army, put your head between your legs, and kiss your own arse."
  20. It can only happen with a change in ownership. Which might happen once MA realises the shit he's in now. If he bought the club to have fun/make money he's going to do neither now. I reckon he'll fuck off asap Can but hope, I just don't think we're lucky enough.
  21. this ^ One man and one man only is to blame for Newcastle United being relegated and that is Mike Ashley, the others were just hired by him. The buck stops with that fat cunt and I hope we get rid of him as soon as possible. There's no point in blaming anyone else, Wise was just taking the money, Llambias is the same. The players were brought in or ground down a long time before Shearer came in and Keegan left because others tied his hands. Mike Ashley has single-handedly destroyed Newcastle United's Premiership status and I hope he never sets foot in the ground again and his ties to the club are severed permanently. I hope the fat cunt goes bankrupt, loses everything and suffers for the rest of his hopefully short life. Getting away from all that though I'm already trying to look at the positives, we can now start again and hopefully rebuild, oh, and it'll be easier to start as Newcastle United when the next Football Mananger game comes out. I can't say I'm not gutted, I really am but there's nothing to be done about it now, just need to take it on the chin, pcik ourselves up, dust ourselves off and come back fighting!
  22. Aye, we deserved to go down. Mike Ashley can consider his mission accomplished, I just hope we can clear the deadwood out now and rebuild. We will be back, HOWAY THE TOON!!!
