To be fair it's always going to be difficult getting any results with the shower of shit players we have at the moment who really don't give a toss. Rather than going at it like a bull in a china shop I think Alan's got the right mentality to clear out the deadwood and hangers on and replace them with player of true conviction - once we get a few of those we should start to pick things up again at long last. Sadly I don't think it'd matter who was manager if players and staff are allowed to take the club for a ride with no worry of any come back to them.

We don't deserve to be down, but Ashley deserves to be the owner of a club going down.

To be honest I don't think the club would have fucked up under Freddie, as much as I didn't like the bloke Newcastle wasn't really any different from the majority of prem clubs as far as debt goes... though Freddie's choices in manager may have caused problems.

No offence AP but we should have been out of sight by half time. You see I never agree with that sort of arguement, anyone can say should've been, fact is you weren't. For whatever reason you weren't which means somewhere down the line either our guys did their job or your guys didn't - if our guys did then they've performed better than people give them credit for, if your lot didn't then you can't say they 'should have'.

Jesus Christ, I've never met a more pesimistic bunch than the majority of fellow Newcastle United fans. Spurs beat us by one goal, one goal. We should have had a pen but didn't. I accept we may go down but we're not there yet - Spurs away was always likely to be a loss and the fact it could have gone either way during the course of the match even considering our current state I'm still not giving up yet. I swear some of you seem to revel in being bloody miserable
