  1. I hope to fuck your tongue is firmly in cheek there. The feeling I get from the conference and the fact Shearer wouldn't say anything other than he's been brought in for 'Eight games only', and it's down to the club as to which direction they want to go is that Ashley will revise the situation at the end of the season. What would have been the point of edging Wise out if Al wasn't being considered to stay on? Kinnear seemed happy enough to work under the poison dwarf. ... that's what I'm hoping anyways, though could Ashley upset the fans twice over by ditching one legend and not trying to hang on to a second?
  2. Thats the bit I dont understand from everyone though, this isnt something theyve just announced. From the first breaking of the story it was always that "8 games and 8 games only". If theres a change of plan then great but until then Im working as I have from the start of this that Alan is here to do a firefighting job and then walk away, not necessarily because thats what he wants to do but because thats what they want. Just watched the conference, it's nice to see he's not elaborated on the position and that it suggests to me that it's going to be down to Ashley at the end of it all as to whether Big Al stays on. Fingers crossed we stay up and Al stays
  3. There had to be something that would bring us down, I just hope Alan sees sense and stays on as manager because at the moment he's the only thing keeping us up.
  4. Hehe, some folk are bitter aren't they - we have a relationship with supporting our team that they could only dream of!
  5. With two moves Mike Ashley has gone a long way to making up for a lot of the heartache and grief he's caused to all Newcastle United fans. I dislike and distrust Llambias but I'm willing to make the sacrifice of him staying if Ashley now gets behind the club, gets behind Big Al and stops sitting in the crowd with an Nufc top on on matchdays. At this moment in time, even with all the impending possibility of us being relegated it once again feels good to be a Toon fan, the excitement has returned.
  6. Whoa! Just turned the tv on and caught this story - I'm not sure whether to jump for joy or cry in despair. Part of me is overjoyed at Big Al taking over but another part of me is wondering why the hell he'd agree to work under Mike Ashley's regime, especially with Wise still there. It's kind of like a dream has been tainted for me, Mike Ashley's messing with everything I hold dear...
  7. I don't see why we'd sign a new keeper when we have Harps, Krul and young F

We were expecting a loss today, and again against Chelski next week, it's what happens after that which will mean us staying up or going down.
  10. Aye, every fucking cloud eh.... That's what I was thinking... hurrah
  11. What the hell does that title actually say???
  12. It's all part of the 5 year plan you know
  13. Same old problem with this country in general, people don't like to be told the truth, they can't tell it how it is in case they upset someone - the truth is the board are a bunch of useless fuckwits that are despised for very good reasons.
  14. I like the way they're trying to play on people's fears by laying blame on the fans doorsteps - they're saying if you don't renew it could stop the club going forward... an easy get out and way to shift the blame if you ask me.
  15. It's a worrying trend. I'm concerned that at the rate this country is going it's going to be overrun by idiots in no time at all - how anyone can find the lives of such common scum interesting is beyond me.
  16. The thing that bugs me the most is Keegan came back, being promised so many things and making the future look an exciting thing. Instead of the roller-coaster ride it was supposed to be it was a short-lived damp squib because Keegan wasn't given the chance to do what he does best, he was restricted as soon as he'd been tricked in to returning and in that it gave so much false hope to so many fans... ultimately leading to possibly one of the biggest disappointments in modern footballing history. It could have been so much more, could still be so much more if the powers that be pulled their heads from their rectums.
  17. Bloody right, I'd be over the moon and it'd certainly be a step in the right direction. I can honestly say, as much as people would laugh at and jeer nothing would make me happier. For me to forgive Ashley of all his fuckups all he would need to do would be reinstall Keegan and ditch Wise. As long as Keegan was brought in with everything out in the open (spending/saving) I don't care how much money they want to play with or what financial plan they want to work to. Letting Keegan manage the team while they manage the finances is all it needs.
  18. He set the tone to be fair. Not really, the next went in and the third went completely wide, Tom you dont need to have a pop after every post I make. Do yourself (yoursel) a favour and give it a break. It's called 'discussion' you pathetic knob. He's 'debating' your point. This is what 'football fans' do on 'forums.' Once in a while people 'disagree' especially when the first is talking a load of cobblers. Board's been great without you lad. But already I can see the signs of you coming in and derailing every thread with your bullshit, wind-ups and trolling, then turning round and crying 'but I have to defend Spurs from all of you, you're "obsessed."' More like do us all a favour. Aye, is about right - and he's a cock

  20. Finally got round to getting my Wii linked up to the interweb, MarioKart seems like a hoot - anyone else got this?
