  1. On what basis? The only thing I can think of is that you have a bigger stadium and even that you won't have for much longer. How long have you had your 50K stadium now? We still have a higher average attendance you. http://nufc.com/2008-09html/attendance-all-time.html We are bigger in just about every criteria. The passionate fans thing is just a sky fabrication that you lot are clinging on to. When you dont have a come back post a picture. Job done. When you don't have a come back against any of the fact telling posts and look like a chump post a reply to a picture
  2. For the record the board don't have me on side yet, I just don't feel the point in being agro towards them for the time being - certainly not until the season's finished anywho.
  3. I'm starting to think Danny could in fact be the second account of one of the admins on here, drumming up that bit more reaction on the forum by posting shite on a regular basis - I can't see how else he'd still be here
  4. No point in having a crack at Llambias as things stand, we need to be all on board together, with a fresh start as soon as Shearer came through the door. I'm willing to let things be, if they drop another bollock then I'll reconsider.
  5. Three wins from the next seven games, I can see us beating Portsmouth and Boro, just hope we can get Stoke next week.
  6. A foot over the goal line, bloody typical - best we bruch ourselves down and crack on. At least when that happens the players have something to work on, they can't help the officials being shite.
  7. Apparently iy was in, ho hum, shit always goes this way when you're struggling
  8. It's not a result we wanted but was what we expected, nothing has changed with the overall picture as of yet - it'll be picking up points against the teams that we really can beat when we need to that will be the proof of the pudding.
  9. Rob Styles really is a c*nt isn't he. ... at this moment in time I would deffo take 0-0 as a result!
  10. I hope to fuck your tongue is firmly in cheek there. The feeling I get from the conference and the fact Shearer wouldn't say anything other than he's been brought in for 'Eight games only', and it's down to the club as to which direction they want to go is that Ashley will revise the situation at the end of the season. What would have been the point of edging Wise out if Al wasn't being considered to stay on? Kinnear seemed happy enough to work under the poison dwarf. ... that's what I'm hoping anyways, though could Ashley upset the fans twice over by ditching one legend and not trying to hang on to a second?
  11. Thats the bit I dont understand from everyone though, this isnt something theyve just announced. From the first breaking of the story it was always that "8 games and 8 games only". If theres a change of plan then great but until then Im working as I have from the start of this that Alan is here to do a firefighting job and then walk away, not necessarily because thats what he wants to do but because thats what they want. Just watched the conference, it's nice to see he's not elaborated on the position and that it suggests to me that it's going to be down to Ashley at the end of it all as to whether Big Al stays on. Fingers crossed we stay up and Al stays
  12. There had to be something that would bring us down, I just hope Alan sees sense and stays on as manager because at the moment he's the only thing keeping us up.
  13. Hehe, some folk are bitter aren't they - we have a relationship with supporting our team that they could only dream of!
  14. With two moves Mike Ashley has gone a long way to making up for a lot of the heartache and grief he's caused to all Newcastle United fans. I dislike and distrust Llambias but I'm willing to make the sacrifice of him staying if Ashley now gets behind the club, gets behind Big Al and stops sitting in the crowd with an Nufc top on on matchdays. At this moment in time, even with all the impending possibility of us being relegated it once again feels good to be a Toon fan, the excitement has returned.
  15. Whoa! Just turned the tv on and caught this story - I'm not sure whether to jump for joy or cry in despair. Part of me is overjoyed at Big Al taking over but another part of me is wondering why the hell he'd agree to work under Mike Ashley's regime, especially with Wise still there. It's kind of like a dream has been tainted for me, Mike Ashley's messing with everything I hold dear...
  16. I don't see why we'd sign a new keeper when we have Harps, Krul and young F

We were expecting a loss today, and again against Chelski next week, it's what happens after that which will mean us staying up or going down.
  19. Aye, every fucking cloud eh.... That's what I was thinking... hurrah
  20. What the hell does that title actually say???
  21. It's all part of the 5 year plan you know
