  1. Have you seen any of our ladies team? We have the Coleman sisters... not sure how old they are though
  2. I know we need someone to take charge for the last game and it makes sense that it'd be the assistant manager... but please don't let Fat Freddy see this thread and get any ideas, you know what he's like, he could do another Roeder!
  3. As much as I hate to say it, beggars can't be choosers. There aren't anymore 'Bobby Robsons' out there and very few have faith that Alan Shearer could be the next Kevin Keegan. It'd be great if we could attract a top, world class manager but it's never going to happen for several reasons. Roeder did what needed to be done for the good of the club (albeit probably with a helping shove from the fat man), we all know what needs to be done at the club but maybe, just maybe this can be looked on as a nearly clean slate - with a bit of luck we 'might' get someone who can reform things and start a proper rebuilding process and get us back on track.
  4. Anal contradicts himself on a daily basis, knows nothing about football and has his own little dreamworld where he's kept in the loop on everything going on at board level at Newcastle United - crap journo, embarassing that other parts of the media get him on to talk about us when he obviously doesn't have a clue.
  5. Scrolling text accross the bottom of SSN - Newcastle Manager Glenn Roeder Resigns with immediate effect - Breaking News
  6. My feelings entirely, hope Roeder has a more successful furutre elsewhere and a long healthy life as well.
  7. But how does that stand if it's a resignation rather than a sacking? On a seperate note, Glenn deserves some respect if he has resigned, shows him to be a bigger man than pricks like Souness ever will be by stepping down and admitting he's not the man for the job instead of dragging things out and causing more pain to the club. If anyone deserves grief it the fat fool who gave him the job in the first place, had he have given it to the right candidate previously we might have been in a better position now AND still had a decent academy boss still.
  8. I hope the fat twat chokes on a pasty
  9. But he's only been here two seasons, still I see where you're coming from - things would hopefully be better under a new manager. If Owen did use that as an excuse though I'd hope he'd have the common sense to stay away from Newcastle after the club stuck by him after being injured while playing for another team. Still reckon Freddy's got a just case over the FA tbh.
  10. Shame about Glenn, he seems like a really nice bloke, managing is a bit beyond him but he would have been excellent as the head of the academy... oh
  11. Should have had Campbell last summer tbh, just shows how backwards thinking Rodent is. Both are experienced but at 32 and 33 getting both wouldn't be that good in my eyes, I think Taylor would improve alongside Campbell anyways so we wouldn't need Hypia. Would rather we went for a new right and left back as well as Campbell than get Hypia, sort the back four out and we'd be a lot closer to being sorted out as a whole.
  12. Question is, would it be better to sell Martins or Owen? If we were getting rid of one of these 'midgets', at least Oba isn't injured all the time. Saying that if we get Big Sam as manager it might go some way to sorting out the team's fitness in general.
  13. Pleeeeeeeease let this be true! Fat Sam for the Toon!!!
  14. Sol Cambell isn't the sort of player we're looking for and he's too old as well... according to Glenn last summer
  15. Bollocks. so you're saying that all of the shit games we played this season were because Owen wasn't on the pitch showing the others how to play? No. I was referring to two occassions last night where Owen was pointing to where the ball should have been played. Not sure how you made that jump. You've got to wonder what the coaching team are doing then if it's taking Owen on the pitch to tell the players what to do...
  16. I've said that on numerous occasions, it can't be coincidence that we played much better and were more successful with Shearer in the management team. I know that comment's like that will likely bring out all the Shearer haters and their ilk but facts is facts.
  17. But wouldn't it be nice?... *Sigh* PS - Not the you wanking part you understand...
  18. Reading have beaten Newcastle United 1-0 on Michael Owen's return from a near career threatening injury, the next day Glenn Roeder is called to Freddy Shepherd's office... Shep "Come in Glenn, take a seat" Glenn "Thanks. Look, I'm really sorry about last night Mr Shepherd" Shep "I'm afraid it's a bit late for that Glenn. We'd like to thank for your efforts but we won't be keeping you on in the role of manager from the end of the this season" Glenn "Oh... I see" Shep "However, being that you've done a sterling job with the youth team in the past I'd like to offer you your old job back" Glenn "Oh... I see" Shep "You can go think about it on your way to telling the first team Glenn, take a couple of days off" Glenn "Okay... err, thanks or something... injury crisis... blah, blah" Glenn gets up and walks out of Freddy's office, Freddy stands up and opens the cupboard door revealling Sam Allardyce holding a tray of pasties. Sam "Now Mr Shepherd, we were discussing the large kitty you're going to give me to spend in the summer..."
  19. What he said Milner tried hard, Taylor was ok and if any stupid arse says give Bramble a contract should be fisted by the usless twat! Rodent should go, we all know it, sadly it won't happen any time soon though... sickening.

    Owen

Sadly I reckon it's more and more likely Owen will leave come the summer, can't say I blame him either as gutting as it is to say it. Newcastle United is dead and buried.
  21. Oliver really makes my piss boil, I mean where does he get off spouting all this shite? I mean has it got to the stage where he's lost contact with reality because he's brainwashed himself in to thinking what he's typing out is truth? WE DON'T WANT ROEDER, HE'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
  22. That'll be right, as always Shepherd 'backs his manager'... it's about time the fat prick woke up and smelled the pasties.
