who do you think will cut it in the premiership?
TheMoog replied to Dr Gloom's topic in Newcastle Forum
I thought they were canny dodgy together last year though. Colo looked like a clown for a lot of last season but the way he's turned it around this term (and the way he started last season) suggests to me that was mainly due to a lack of confidence caused by the change in country and complete mess the club was in. Taylor is a solid premiership defender for me. I think he suffers here from people either thinking he's much better than what he is because he's a local lad who come through the ranks or people rebelling against that viewpoint and going too far the other way. ... of course Colo's sudden upturn in supposed skill could also be because he's playing against shite opposition -

I had intended to post something along the lines of whoever started the thread doing some grooming tbh. Truth is that young lasses dee nowt for me. 30+ and I'm sniffing See, there was me thinking the same, teen fanny on a match day

precisely. Spot on that like, I'm about 2 months from my missus having ours and already I can tell you now that nothing and nobody would get any mercy from me if harm was brought to my child (or wife for that matter).

Damn the spammers! -
Used to be an automatic 3 points for speeding past a camera, not sure what the penalty is for jumping a red is though.

Surely it's obvious to the authorities that the bloke was giving the kid instructions under full supervision, just repeating what he's being told. Ah well, I suppose it shouldn't have happened.

I think the likes of Armchair Pundit definitely need locking up, who by his own admission would derive pleasure from carrying out such an act. I'm also quite concerned by the suggestion that he currently works for the NHS. You don't think he was taking the piss? I did tbh, I wasn't being serious, but then he follows it up with a more serious post supporting capital punishment so I'm not so sure now! Alright, alright, settle down. For the record I think we're all aware that things aren't so black and white as to the pros and cons for such things, personally IF guilt was provable to a satisfactory degree then I would prefer a murderer dead themselves rather than being alive and costing me the money of housing them and feeding them in a prisons. At the end of the day it'd never happen though because there would always be that doubt by someone that the perp might be the victim of a miscarriage of justice. Just out of curiosity I wonder how much money is spent keeping murderers alive and what percentage they take up in the overall amount of criminals in prison. And damn your hides for making me post a more serious response!

I don't see why hanging a murderer would be something to be sad about though, I'm fully supportive of a return of the death sentence. I think one of the biggest problems this country has is that there's fuckwits willing to stick up for the 'rights' of criminals rather than the victims.

This couldn't have anything to do with the last dirty scheme coming to an end could it?

It's a good way of looking at it and I've thought along those lines too. The worst thing is I don't think anyone will shout for Hughton to leave because it will fall on deaf ears, and on the face of it statistically the job he's done in this division hasn't looked too bad, and we'll appear right ungrateful bastards. Even if we go up we start the season in a bigger mess than any other club in that division including Sunderland, and certainly with more dissatisfied fans. We're not moaning it's just we've seen it all before with Roeder, who I think we a better manager than CH. Roeder's definitely a better manager imo and he wasn't man enough for the job. Like you though, I think there's no point in getting rid because who's going to take it / who would the owner/chairman even approach? Also, as I've said before, he'll be lucky to be in a job come Xmas. Is really the main question, I can't imagine any manager of quality would want to work with our Owner/Chairman. I might be a lone voice, but I wouldn't mind a manager of passion like Neil Warnock to be honest. The Keegler

Crikey, only a young chap, relatively speaking. RIP

Just finished reading 'Plague of the Dead' and 'Thunder and Ashes' by ZA Recht, sadly it turns out the the author died last December at the age of 26 so now the third book in the series may never be released

Llambias - Fans that criticise are "not reasonable"

I'm so unreasonable for thinking they're both a pair of lying, coniving, cheating, corrupt cluster-fucks who want nothing more than to bleed the club of it's money and put fuck all back in to it? Uh huh... because they've not been proven to have lied to the the fans or media in the past at all have they, wow, we really owe them a lot for 'saving' our club from Premiership Football and what could have been entertaining football under a manager who related to the fans. The worst thing for me about these fucking worms is that they're not willing to admit they're the ones who fucked up, they're the ones who got us relegated and they're the ones who've caused the agro with the fans - they're buck passers and they think we, the fans, owe them - complete bunch of vile scrotums. -
I say hang em. I'd love that job, how much satisfaction you'd get, must be better than working for the NHS.

I thought it was funny

For me he can stay as long as he keeps a lid on his blatant racism. I never called for him to be banned or anything of the sort. I just think it's a bit pathetic how he's now trying to pretend that the entire board doesn't know who he is. Just a few of the kids on here need to settle down a bit and let the grown-ups get a word in edge-ways

It says he can't post, and he's a guest? I think the moderators should consider reinstating him. Fuck me if the mods cant see this they are braindead. Some things are just part of the furniture of this forum, Stevie's one of them, he helps make it home.
