More chance of knitting fog than Joe Cole going to Boro!

Agent reveals that Newcastle rejected Zinedine Zidane
TheMoog replied to Kitman's topic in Newcastle Forum
Nice... so it's not like he's got anything against things related to NUFC is it? Scum doesn't even begin to describe Silkman -
What an horrible litte orange turd he is.

I'm not being funny but I still don't see it as a derby, Middlesboro are nothing to me if I'm honest.
-
Precisely. Honesty, rather than money commands respect. At least it does with me. I couldn't give a fuck how much he's putting into the club - if he was bankrolling us to the same degree that Abramovich did Chelsea I'd still feel the same about him. He tried to make mugs of us time and time again and fed us constant bullshit. All of which is totally irreversable IMO. Get the fuck out! There's a very telling bit in Kevin Keegan's autobiography that he says above all else the public of Newcastle and the fans of Newcastle United appreciate honesty. Ashley and Llambias have lied in the past repeatedly and continue to treat the fans and locals with a complete lact of respect.

Aye, my missus got conned by a company called Skylite doing this exact thing. It's cost her £60 to find out the hard way that they're scammers, I sort of blame myself really though as they'd rang me about 2 weeks previously and I'd told them to fuck off in no uncertain terms but forgot to tell the wife they'd rang.

Llambias - Fans that criticise are "not reasonable"
TheMoog replied to Happy Face's topic in Newcastle Forum
I read that earleir and was quite surprised how "for" Ashley the comments were. Was going to post it myself...... I think they do reflect how the majority feel and that they just want to "move on". Even after all that has happened the current position is creating dare I say a "feel good factor". Naturally we chew these things over more regularly than a lot of fans and by the very nature of the internet set up have some very trenched in positions. I can hand on heart say 99% of fans that get in the cab just talk about the positive aspects of the Toon and not the Ashley / Llambias sagas. While I do want to 'move on' I'd rather it wasn't with two proven liars like Ashley or Llambias, they might as well bring Aldrige Prior in as their PR man. -
The really sad thing is they've never been able to come out and openly admit they lied to the fans, rather they'd like to continue lying and hope nobody notices.

What England need is their own version of the SNP (and no, I don't mean like the BNP). No idea who I'm going to vote for personally, I mean let's face it there's only two runners in reality and they're both shite.

...he's not in either of those, you're president of his fan club obviously.... RIP Your thinking of Sean Austin (he was Samwise in lord of the rings and Mikey in the Goonies) I reckon she was thinking of Corey Feldman like No it was just a bad joke that only my brother gets, but ho hum, he found it amusing anyway. Kind of lost on this board then really?

And there was me expecting to see Geoff and Spuggy

...he's not in either of those, you're president of his fan club obviously.... RIP Your thinking of Sean Austin (he was Samwise in lord of the rings and Mikey in the Goonies) Aye, Corey Haim was the fashion victim younger brother with the toothbrush haircut in Lost Boys, he was in several other films with Corey Feldman I think. My only real recolection of the guy was from Lost Boys tbh, though as I recall my cousin had a thing for him and a massive poster of him on her bedroom wall which I defaced with a drawn on mustache and a pair of glasses, got a right bollocking for that.

Three things bother me about this, firstly it's pretty shitty to think that after the hard work of getting us promoted the reward the players would get is a pay cut, secondly how are we losing £500k a week? And thirdly if we get promoted the revenue from being in the Prem is greater than the CCC is it not? We all know Ashley doesn't have a clue how to run a football club but do they really have to keep reminding us how fucking shit he is?

who do you think will cut it in the premiership?
TheMoog replied to Dr Gloom's topic in Newcastle Forum
I thought they were canny dodgy together last year though. Colo looked like a clown for a lot of last season but the way he's turned it around this term (and the way he started last season) suggests to me that was mainly due to a lack of confidence caused by the change in country and complete mess the club was in. Taylor is a solid premiership defender for me. I think he suffers here from people either thinking he's much better than what he is because he's a local lad who come through the ranks or people rebelling against that viewpoint and going too far the other way. ... of course Colo's sudden upturn in supposed skill could also be because he's playing against shite opposition -

I had intended to post something along the lines of whoever started the thread doing some grooming tbh. Truth is that young lasses dee nowt for me. 30+ and I'm sniffing See, there was me thinking the same, teen fanny on a match day

precisely. Spot on that like, I'm about 2 months from my missus having ours and already I can tell you now that nothing and nobody would get any mercy from me if harm was brought to my child (or wife for that matter).

Damn the spammers! -
Used to be an automatic 3 points for speeding past a camera, not sure what the penalty is for jumping a red is though.

Surely it's obvious to the authorities that the bloke was giving the kid instructions under full supervision, just repeating what he's being told. Ah well, I suppose it shouldn't have happened.

I think the likes of Armchair Pundit definitely need locking up, who by his own admission would derive pleasure from carrying out such an act. I'm also quite concerned by the suggestion that he currently works for the NHS. You don't think he was taking the piss? I did tbh, I wasn't being serious, but then he follows it up with a more serious post supporting capital punishment so I'm not so sure now! Alright, alright, settle down. For the record I think we're all aware that things aren't so black and white as to the pros and cons for such things, personally IF guilt was provable to a satisfactory degree then I would prefer a murderer dead themselves rather than being alive and costing me the money of housing them and feeding them in a prisons. At the end of the day it'd never happen though because there would always be that doubt by someone that the perp might be the victim of a miscarriage of justice. Just out of curiosity I wonder how much money is spent keeping murderers alive and what percentage they take up in the overall amount of criminals in prison. And damn your hides for making me post a more serious response!
