When has he ever not been shite in a derby?
-
Lived in New York for a couple of years in 2001 and 2002 so visited quite a few places. New York will always be my favourite but also really like Chicago and LA.
-
Yep. Do it online and it lasts 2 years. Just google ESTA. Costs about a tenner I think.

He's a deeply unfunny bellend. If he is 'bleeding cash' then why the fuck did he go on "I'm a celebrity"?
-
Exactly. I think we all deserve weekend off from the crushing disappointment of watching those wankers.

Steve McClaren sacked as Newcastle United 'Head Coach' (Manager)
Billy Whitehurst replied to Tooj's topic in Newcastle Forum
He might be a good coach (allegedly) but he's tactically inept and a terrible tactician. I can't remember one game this season (perhaps Spurs away) where I thought he got his tactics right. He's also incapable of changing things halfway through a match. I suppose it's difficult to have a plan B when you don't have a plan A. He has to go whether we stay up or not. He's had 26 games with little or no sign of improvement. It's not like this is a blip either, he failed in all but one (FC Twente) of his last 6 managerial roles. We've spent £80m on players yet we still refuse to spend money on a proper manager. It's like buying a FTSE 100 company and installing Barry Chuckle as CEO. -
Worst goal difference in the league now, finally something to be proud of.

I did the Allianz tour in June. It was pretty average. The stadium is very impressive but the dressing rooms, press rooms etc were nothing special. You don't get to go pitch side/have your photo taken on the bench etc, which you can do on some other stadium tours. The museum within the stadium is good, the number of trophies is amazing. No Intertoto framed certificate like us though so fuck them. It might be better during the season as the pitch was being re-seeded when we were there. It's also a bit of a mission to get there. It did keep us out of the pub for a few hours though which was much needed. However, it would be a belting stadium to watch a match at as it is surprisingly compact given its capacity.

The OFFICIAL Transfer Rumours Thread
Billy Whitehurst replied to Anorthernsoul's topic in Newcastle Forum
He's currently Southampton's third or fourth choice striker, would be guaranteed to start here and is probably quite keen on playing in the euros. He clearly doesn't fit our profile but he is exactly the sort of player we should be looking at. Fuck me, if we couldn't attract Southampton's third of fourth choice striker then we really are right in the shit. -

I hadn't heard that but fair play to Boro, at least there'll be one north east team in the premier league next season. -
The OFFICIAL Transfer Rumours Thread
Billy Whitehurst replied to Anorthernsoul's topic in Newcastle Forum
Not sure why we haven't tried for Pelle at Southampton as he is supposedly available now that Southampton have Austin, Long, Mane and Rodriguez coming back. I think he is class. -
He also mentioned Riviere as a potential solution to our scoring problems. I'm not too sure which comment is more outrageous.
-
Mitrovic has been fucking shite today. He hasn't had the best of service but his movement off the ball has been non existent which makes it all the moe difficult for the midfield. If we would have had Ighalo today and they'd have had Mitrovic then we wouldn't have lost.
-
Aye, exactly. He's a brilliant finisher. We don't need him though, our strikers are lethal.
-
Fucking awful this mind. If we don't buy a finisher and a left back then we'll go down.

Newcastle United v West Ham United
Billy Whitehurst replied to Christmas Tree 's topic in Newcastle Forum
Or maybe Riviere will prove to be just as shit as he was last season. Let's hope he doesn't get enough game time for us to find out. -
Would much rather have Anita in the team than Colback. I think that Tiote is a lot better than both of them though.
-
That's it Steve, get your game changer on.

Aye, we haven't been linked with Pierre-Michel Lasogga in this window, surely only a matter of time. -
I thought Tiote had a good game today, looked like the Tiote of old. Actually, everyone played well today but these are not the results that will get us relegated, we've played well against the top teams this season. It's the performances against West Brom, West Ham, Everton, Villa, Sunderland, Swansea, Leicester and Bournemouth that will see us relegated.
-
I think you're being generous there. He has got lot's of potential but his movement off the ball is crap, as is his finishing. He did hold the ball up very well though but he is not the striker to keep us up.
-
So so sad. I met him once and he was so down to earth, a really lovely bloke. He got us, and we got him. RIP to a really wonderful human being.

West Bromwich Albion v Newcastle United 28/12/15 15:00 ko
Billy Whitehurst replied to Haydnator's topic in Newcastle Forum
Two of the worst teams in the league these two. Not the greatest advert for the premier league. -
Easy now, he's not that bad, Billy Whitehurst was complete and utter shhhiiiiiitte. I remember watching him when I was 8 years old and knew I fuck all about the finer points of football. I did, however, know enough even at that age to recognise that he was stealing a career as a professional footballer. I think it is clear that Mitrovic is far from the finished product (it's easy to score in the Belgian league when you play for the best team and play against dross week in week out) and probably not the man to provide the goals to drag us out of this. I'm still baffled as to why nobody has signed Charlie Austin.
