No excuses for turning out a shite performance against them then. They'll be happy though as they have the tiredness excuse for not getting a result should we win.

West Ham 1 v FC Newcastle United 3 (FT)

About time we stuck it up Allardyce. Hope the fat prick takes their grimy little club down. Great result to halt the little slide we were on. Kick on by signing a striker. -
There was a fine cabbie from Boldon Whose moobs rivalled Amanda Holden's He said 'they're really quite nice' As he buttered a slice Of homemade bread that had lots of mould on.

Would You Rather Grim, tries to show itself as more intelligent than your average 'torture porn' fick, but at the end of the day that's al it is. Shame, as it might have worked as a psychological thriller had there been actual thought put into character development. The ending was really careless as well - totally rushed and too non-sequitorial. It would've worked had there been more focus on the aforementioned character development. Jeffrey Combs was very good though. 4/10 -
Loved him in Vicar of Dibley. RIP.

He represents the problem of positive discrimination though. Heaven forbid Blackpool replace him with someone else if they aren't also non-white. To me, the danger is that in looking for a leading figure for black managers, we're still segregating black and white people because we're tied up in racial politics. Chris Powell has been doing a progressively fine job at Charlton, yet there's no fanfare - he's just a guy working up the managerial ladder on footballing merit. Chris Hughton as well you can argue is proving to be a PL-standard manager. You don't get pundits and fans saying 'He's doing a great job and he's black,' because colour doesn't come into it. That in itself is progress made, and I've no doubt there will be managers of all ethnicities involved in football as our society as a whole is becoming more diverse. The best part is - no-one will give a shit because colour won't (and doesn't) matter. If Ince was white, he wouldn't be managing as high as the championship given his managerial ability.

How so? I think he's a piss poor manager who cries discrimination whenever he gets shown up as such.

Negotiations take a turn for the worse after Joe fires a wink and gurns: "Don't be so sour, kraut."

Something about Joe Kinnear going to Germany makes me despair.

Had the exact same scenario a couple of months ago - in the changeover from 50 to 70 there was a high viz vest with a radar gun pointing it at the traffic. I went past at about 60 i'd guess but thankfully never received a ticket, so you might not get anything. They've got a fortnight to issue a fine otherwise they aren't legally allowed to do so. No point doing owt until you actually get a letter. Edit - 2 week fine period confirmed by the above post. I'm still on shit money.

Just got a pay rise. Still going to look for jobs outside of the kitchen though. I'm hoping to do some food buying, just need to find somewhere willing to take on a trainee.

Closer than ever to bidding. On the verge. Considering. I'm deffo missing some but I've never seen so many roundabout ways to conjure up transfers in a single window. We aren't going to sign anyone ffs.

How far we've come as a club. Unbelievable patter. -
Or what we leave on the bench week in, week out...

Could be why his game has dropped off so significantly - too much philandering catching up to him.

Just made cod in a mustard, mushroom & greek yoghurt sauce with samphire. Very nice.

Bring me Solo and the wookie.

I want onions, ketchup and mustard on my burger.
-
I'll second that - great cooking tip for burgers. You also get American diners hoying cheese on top, chucking in some ice crystals around the burger and then covering to give a molten cheeseburger. Homemade burgers are awesome. Everyone round tooj's.

Burgers are best with simple seasoning. Buy some good ground meat and let it speak for itself. I like mine with caramelised onions, ketchup and yellow mustard.
