  1. They must have some appeal; I'm paying £50 to take me mam to see Dame Edna.
  2. Turkey juices are not stock, no. Stock is typically made from boiling bones/off cuts of meat along with seasoning and vegetables. Currently cooking up one of my faves - corn beef and black pudding hash. Comfort food at its finest.
  3. We were probably knackered like. Shite result, but the run had to end sometime. Rode our luck playing Ameobi and Willo for so long a string of games.
  4. That's not what a beef stew should look like.
  5. Really crap news, Tom. Don't let that bs spoil xmas and look forward to a new job in the new year instead. (Happy belated, CT!)
  6. Good player and deserves a cap. Would've been a very good signing for us.
  7. I'm making Christmas cham! Halfway between jam and chutney. Apple, grape, cranberry, mix spice and ginger beer. Tastes mighty fine.
  8. Aye that's the one. Haven't seen The Raid but will give it a watch. Watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang last night. Gay Perry is a fantastic character. Very funny film, makes you wonder what happened to Val Kilmer.
  9. Sharlto Copley made one hell of a baddie in that film.
  10. Beef Rouladen for tea tonight. (Beef olives, but Beef Rouladen sounds miles better) I don't have my camera, but it was awesome. Three thin cuts of topside beef from the local butcher (I suppose you *should* go for one steak per person, but you can always do more - we had 1 1/2 each because our butcher does awesome beef) 1 onion 8 pickled baby gherkins 2 tsp wholegrain mustard 300ml beef stock 1 tbsp tomato puree 1 tbsp ale chutney/dash of stout (I used both) 1/2 tsp marmite 1tbsp plain flour salt, pepper, sweet paprika - Small dice and sautee the onion in butter until softened. Chop gherkins into small rounds. - Flatten the steaks so they're a few centimetres thick. Use whatever tools and stimuli you want to bash them with; I used a pan and pictured CT snapping breadsticks into his food. - Spread a teaspoon of mustard over each and then do the same with the onion & gherkin. Keep some of the onion aside. Season with the salt, pepper & sweet paprika. - Roll them up and secure with a cocktail stick. - Turn the heat on high and brown on all sides then set aside. - Turn the heat down and return your saved onions (+ anything that falls out when rolling the steaks) to the pan and add the chutney/stout and tomato puree. - Whisk in a tablespoon of flour and everything clumps together. Dissolve the marmite into the beef stock and slowly whisk this into the pan until the lumps disappear. (Add more or less stock according to how much gravy you want.) - Return the Rouladen to the pan and turn the heat up so everything simmers. Scoop a bit of gravy over the top of the meat and then cover the pan with a lid. Simmer for 40 minutes, adding more stock if the gravy gets too thick. Give the pan a shake/stir every now and then and keep trickling gravy over the top of the meat. Serve up with garlicky mash, some green veg and red cabbage. Drink some good beer with it too.
  11. Beyond vile. You can't blame 24 separate counts of rape on drug binges. Incomprehensible evil.
  12. Rather fittingly, when I watched the video I first got an advert for Duplo. Also, who wears a tie with their top button undone? What an absolute knacker.
  13. Krul out, Alex McCarthy in according to the Star. Krul is better, but McCarthy is a cracking keeper.
  14. Medel slapped Fellatio because of the elbow to the face. Both should've got red. Now watch Medel get a ban and Fellaini escape punishment. Gerrard should've seen a red for the elbow too. Rooney can feck right off with his talk of 'it was a bad challenge' It wasn't a challenge you inbred little oik, you've kicked people throughout your career and have been sent off for the exact same challenge before. A certain England game springs to mind. Thicker than Neptune cum nuggets.
  15. Dino still wouldn't have fucking paid his 50 bones.
  16. We'd all be grimacing as ÇT posts up pictures of his paella y pato de peking.
