American: The Bill Hicks Story Managed to get a ticket the the world premiere on monday. Met his mother, brother and his best friend (and there was one person standing there) after the screening. Plenty of unseen footage following his career, even from his first gigs as a 16-year old! Really moving in parts, and it's great to finally see a film which chronicles the events of the life of a great comedian. If you're a fan of Bill, you owe it to yourself to see this film when it comes out. Having said that, the only problem I found was that 2 hours isn't nearly enough time to portray Bill Hicks, as a result, there are probably alot of areas that could have been addressed in more detail, or some of his material that shouldn't have been excluded. Mary Hicks is possibly one of the nicest people I have ever met as well.

Absolutely amazing race, some great driving on display. Couldn't tear myself away! Dead chuffed for Button, he's been very lucky over the course of the season, but you still don't just fluke your way to the driver's championship.

I see Dennis Leary is advertising Ford these days. He can only take the Bill Hicks impression so far. As Bill said, 'any, any performer that ever sells a product on television is for now and all eternity removed from the artistic world.' Leary does amazingly well to take Hicks' act and not make it funny.

The Yes Men Fix The World Brilliant. Incredibly insightful film, really funny but at the same time quite shocking to see the attitudes and behaviour of the targeted corporations towards people. Everyone should watch this film.

Watched this game yesterday. Fucking hell, Butt should've retired seasons ago, he's absolutely dire. Just doesn't contribute to the team in any way other than losing possession and fouling the opposition. I'll bet he's on an absolute fortune as well. The performance was good, completely controlled the game, and the scoreline could have been even more. I thought Ranger looks like a really good prospect, he always looked really up for it. A great 3 points, and some well-taken goals. We're actually looking dangerous from set pieces again, it's incredibly refreshing to see.

I was worried for a second there.
