Gid in! Shearer was wanting to help us so maybe that's why Keegan's came back to us, so they can work together. Would be pretty happy with that! Pointless being all doom and gloom about it. Just get behind the team, & manager eh lads!

Not that I would have minded of course. rarely post on here nowadays so wasn't really gonna post the news, but to those who do know me this news may sadden you or make you feel quite chuffed for me. I proposed to wor' lass on our anniversary (xmas eve). She of course said yes, but I made the mistake of asking two minutes before Corrie came on...! She made me watch the fucker, then Eastenders before accepting! After I placed the ring on her finger after getting down on one knee she made up for it by getting down on both.

I'm on A/L today! but I'm busy studying to complete my assignment now so I don't leave it last minute before my deadline, Monday 5:00pm.

The combination of greco roman/sambo wrestling, grappling, muay thai, boxing & brazilian jujitsu seem to be used more than anything to compete and prepare well for your opponant these days in MMA. Judo is being used a lot too. Evans vs Bisping Bisping always goes for the high kicks which is why Rashad Evans was quick to get the takedown each time. By the time Bisping started defending those takedowns it was too late. Apart from that it was pretty even. Bisping did well in the thai clinch with some knees and low leg kicks to the inside leg and defended well while in guard. There wasn't much between them as they traded punches, but those takedowns won the fight for Evans.

Happy birthday awld fella

Didn't exactly have a lot of time to impress, but it will be interesting to see if he plays and where/if Taylor plays in our next game. I thought Taylor played a good game, but I would be chopping and changing him & Rozenhal in central defence and playing him at right-back when needed. Wasn't impressed at all with Rozenhal in the air, but everything else he did, apart from miss a sitter, I thought he did a decent job. Mind, it says something when you've got him & Taylor bursting forward instead one or two from midfield.

He made one mistake when he got caught on the ball, but looked very composed the majority of time. I wouldn't say he played simple passes. He made vital passes under pressure and looked a better player than Butt did in the little time he was given. I'd replace Butt with Faye in our next game personally.

Geremi played alright, but I think alongside Faye instead of Butt, who had a stinker of a game. He'd be able to do a bit more in support for the strikers. Faye never looked uncomfortable, he was very composed I thought. We seriously need Barton back and we need Zoggy playing on the left-wing instead of being starved at left-back. Hopefully Enrique will play some part next time around, but he needs games quickly otherwise those little niggles are always going to be there. The midfield were so bad you had the likes of Rozenhal & Taylor trying to burst forward to support the front two...! Hopefully at least one or two changes are made because we can't go on relying on Shola for the big man little man partnership because it was clear it didn't work, yet BS still brought Owen off instead of Shola...!

....which is down to a lack of games. He needs to build his fitness up and start playing more games otherwise injuries like this will crop up all the time. He's 50-50, but unlikely to start. Will probably be on the bench.
