"It's not the sort of thing you expect to see Championship players getting up to. These guys are supposed to be role models." "Premiership? When did that happen?"

Many happy returns of the wrist, Jimbo.

What reg is 98? My dad had a P-reg C180, basic model and bit of a box on wheels really. Ran well enough but it's nothing special. The auto box on it was shit though- took about a fortnight to realise it needed to change up.

Thank God it's friday. Spent all week doing technical documentation for stuff. I find it hard to beleive that some people do that as a full time job. Microsoft Word is now my mortal enemy. 4.2.1.2.3 Disassembly of product using only a rubber band and your teeth

This is an absolute no-brainer. Gudjohnsen all the way.

Wholeheartedly agree. Stuckup, inbred bastards with stupid licensing laws. Nice airport though.

He missed one ball today, right towards the end. We should either loan him out of put him in first team contention. It would be a shame for him to rot in the stiffs.

The second half was ludicrous. Danquah is 15 FFS! And Mark Doninger got the 'top of the shops' with shirt numbers, wearing 5-0, blind fifty. A few more things we've learned tonight: Edgar > Ramage x100 Troisi= Looks Caniggia, plays Cordone

Setanta have a lot to learn about interviewing. Sam was pulled from pillar to with Sir Les on one side and Paddy O'Duff on the other. Seems to have been to the Craig Hope school of asking questions which require one-word answers....."So Sam you must be pleased" and the like.

HT 1-0 down. We're pretty toothless up front, Martins is having an off day and Carroll looks isolated though he is battling well. Edgar is winning everything in the air and generally looking composed. Ramage isn't. Pattison is still rubbish. Their goal was deflected and offiside.

I've not felt so young in a long time as in Bacchus. Like a pissup on a Saga holiday.

I've been to Benbecula and South Uist with work quite a lot over the last year or so. I'm sure it's lovely to look at the in the summer but it's a depressing place to work, that's for sure- the journey to Uig for the ferry is a bitch too!

Journal: "Reports written by my mate across the office in yesterday's Chronicle have proved to be utter bollocks. Instead we're signing this Icelandic bloke." Chronicle: "What my mate said about about the Icelandic bloke, it's bollocks. This is who we're after." Repeat ad infinitum.

"Olivier knows Newcastle well and offers us versatility on the left-hand side"

£3m for our only fit left sided player in the whole squad would be absolute and utter madness. I hope it is bollocks. I thought Zog was near enough our best player on Sunday.

I don't get it. There's no way he'll get what he paid for it, was Ashley just a little bored?

Went along today, the ground is looking canny- a million miles from the state it was in five years ago. The stand in the third picture is over 70 years old and will have to be pulled down within the next few years (if a strong breeze doesnt do the job first), time will tell if a new stand or just terrace will take its place. The roof on the Plessey end has made an amazing difference to the feel of the ground.

The PLC will become Ltd. It does have a bearing on various company rules and reporting requirements (such was IFRS which are now compulsory for PLCs, I think). But the entity remains the same unless Ashley feels the need to tinker with the corporate structure.

Wasn't a Creative DAP (aka Nomad) was it? Portable my arse. Lugging that around would give Geoff Capes a hernia. And the four AA batteries were shagged after a couple of hours. I have a Minidisc player and put it to good use as I used it for radio work. Still have about 10 brand new unused discs on a shelf somewhere.

Mine was going to start at 5 tomorrow but after some suppliers pissed me around I'm going to have to go in on Friday for a couple of hours to finish stuff off. Bastids.
