I had a fucking nightmare on my first test. My first instructor decided the best way to toughen me up for the rammed streets of Blyth would be to jolly around the country for two hours at £40 a time. Oh, then decide I'd have to find a new instructor (and different car) two weeks before the test. Wankstain. Come test day my clutch foot was shaking like someone had plugged it into the mains and clipped the kerb on a reverse park enough to warrant a fail. (I can't stay still at the best of times). I then proceeded to be distracted enough to straight on at a roundabout- ignoring the instructor who wanted to go right so I think that actually counted as two fails in one go. The instructor whom I'd been foisted upon then actually showed me the test routes unlike the previous useless twat and I flew through the second test. Hint: book a test for early Saturday morning- Sunday if you can swing it. Yep, it's another £15 but it will make your life a lot easier when you dont have to worry about lorries/masses of kids/market day etc. And under no circumstances hire MICHAEL MEAD ADI. He is a moneygrabbing charlatan twat. Hmm. That might get edited, but as long as it takes some business away before it does, then fine by me.

I heard our next signing is on the 31st February.

NUFC's financial year ended 31/6 this time round, results will be stated as an 11-month period. Future financial reports will refect this change. Something to do with IFRS. Do you have an existing ADSL modem? Even if you do, I'd recommend ditching it and getting a combined ADSL modem/router. It makes setup and fault finding a lot easier for the sake of £10-20.

I think his 'just hoof it' performance yesterday may have weakened his bargaining position. We certainly should not be offering him big wages- he's got such a bad rep in the game that he still wouldn't get as good a deal even if he got a pay cut. If I'm honest I don't see the point of offering a new contract to a player who isn't good enough. Disagree. Whatever the fee, Faye is hopeless and adds nothing to the side other than being able to run around a lot and stand in the way of players. He seems to have no natural footballing instincts. I've always thought he looked solid while two friends of mine who are Boro fans think very highly of him. However they also reckon he's leaving to move to London rather than for football.

It's not so much the 4x4s but that so often some of the people driving them have no concept of the size of the car they are driving. My road positioning leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm in a Clio. I know I've got a little bit of room for manouvre- a Range Rover has to be dead on in a tight junction. Without wanting to get into a women driver argument, there is a decent correlation...

Anyone see the Top Gear caravan feature? I know they stage these things but they didn't even try to make it look real...... Used to go away in a caravan when I was little, was canny. That said, I won't be buying one ever. It's only fun when the parents do the work! And if you cant do 65-70mph towing, you shouldn't be towing (yes I know technically 60 is the limit).

Viking cards are pretty good, they're essentially the same as some of the 'big brand cards'. If you peel the Viking label off, it often shows a brand underneath that's twice the price of the card you got.
