From what I understand, what pisses them off more than anything is that the police have never accepted overall responsibility for the events that led to the death of those fans. The police have instead chosen to stick with the view that the fans were to blame for getting racous and forcing them to have to open the gate. And then furthermore, it's the fans fault for rushing through the tunnel and crushing those at the front. Despite the findings over the years, the police still stick with this view that the fans of Liverpool FC, fuelled by drink, were ultimately responsible for what happened. Most of us have been to away matches and been sensibly policed to the ground. If you have and you've read up on what happened that day, you can't fail to come to the conclusion that it was a failure on a massive scale by the South Yorks Police Force. For those of you still unsure, put yourself in the position of the fans the police choose to blame. It's 10mins before kick-off in an FA Cup semi-final. It's only natural you want to get in the ground so by definition you will be congregating near the turnstiles. Then, when the gate is opened, it's only natural that you're going to make a bee-line to get in a position to view the game (the nearest entry being that tunnel. We'd have all done the same in the same situation. The part I can still get my head round is those police officers who initially stopped people escaping over the fence at the front. They must have seen people being crushed to death in front of their eyes but rather than help them out or open the gate, they pushed them back in. They're the fucking animals....

TBF I'm with them on this one, the police should have been dragged over the coals on this one.... The fact that Jo and her Dad should have been bang in the middle of the leppings lane end when this happened is inconsequential but it did bring the whole thing alarmingly to mind. Innocent people died because the police fucked up - I'd sure as hell be pissed if it was NUFC.

Nice to see their information is bang up to date.... check out our kit info on his initial post.

They've got a user called "Cracking Left Foot"?? Doesn't exactly have the same ring to it as "sweetleftpeg" does it?

I just got confirmation today that i've got the tickets for it... i can't wait

It clashes with the Milan-Arsenal game. They are not allowed to play two CL games in the same city in the same week. Not only the same city but the same stadium...

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0838153/ Check the 'Music Department' section. Composed and sang the title music.

John Sullivan (bloke who wrote the show) sang the theme tune. There was a programme on about it not long back when he said they'd run out of cash so couldn't afford to get anyone specialist in to do it so he just sung it himself.

Middle of my test the examiner stated "Can you please pull up against the kerb". Parked up and was just about to turn to him and ask what I'd done wrong when an ambulance with its blues and twos going screamed past us.... He must have seen it from miles back - I fucking didn't! Still passed like.... First test was cancelled due to fog - never understood that as the day after I actually passed it was like pea soup also yet I was deemed safe to drive then?

What do you think of your season so far? A living nightmare What are your expectations for the rest of the season? Survival by the skin of our teeth - David Kelly will pop up in the 85th minute of the penultimate game Was Kevin Keegan everyone's choice to replace Big Sam, if not who would you have preferred? Better than we could have ended up with but I do worry that people expect a repeat of what happened 16 years ago Who has been your best player/s so far Beye, Milner and your worst? Alan Smith - big disappointment Any young up and coming players that have impressed you? Lua Lua looks promising as does Carroll. Typical NUFC though, they'll impress right until the point they regularly play in the 1st team. What sort of line up do you expect that'll play against us? Please god let it be a 4-4-2. I'd play: Harper, Beye, Cacapa, Faye, Enrique, Milner, Butt, N'Zogbia, Duff, Owen, Martins Which Liverpool player/s do you think will have to be watched in our forthcoming game? Gerrard & Torres obviously are subject to the media attention. But think the ones to watch are Mascherano (best defensive midfielder in England IMO) and Babel (awesome talent) Any of your players who you think we'll have to watch out for? Joey Barton - particularly if he pops into McDonalds.... What are your memories, if any, of our previous meetings at Anfield? Clearly remember winning there in our relegation season when Mirandinha kissed his badge in front of the kop. Also winning 2-0 in 93/94 and of course the 4-3s Where do you expect both teams will finish in the league come the end of the season? Liverpool 4th Newcastle 15th and finally, do you care to predict the score? 3-0 to Liverpool
-
Barton can't play (conditions of bail). Is that for real?

What like every one of the three songs every away support since Keegan arrived have churned out? ''Cheer Up Kevin Keegan'' ''Keegan out'' ''Sack the board'' (WTFBTWLOL?) ''Going Down'' You'l only add YNWA (yawn) and some shite about Gerrard actually being good. Liverpool fans are comic book football fans man Is YNWA a reference to "fuck all.... you've never won fuck all.....!" ???? Cracks me up when people sing that - I'm guessing that football didn't really exist on the red side of Liverpool before 1965.

Michael Wray's spreadsheet prediction thing has us relegated on goal difference. Hope it doesn't work out that way....

Sick Eduardo chants spark arrests at Emirates
Craig replied to Dr Kenneth Noisewater's topic in Newcastle Forum
Haven't a clue but arresting fans for making chants about players on the other team? Fucking hell whatever next, arrested for farting? -
What a tit.... And this isn't the first time he's shot his mouth of to the press is it?
-
I've only just realised there's only a point between us and Sunderland... And they've got a better goal difference!
-
We deserved at least a draw yesterday. At least. On that basis his selection yesterday was alright imo. Stepping back a bit, it's a sad endictment that we'd have accepted a draw at home to Blackburn but I see (and agree with) where you're coming from.

You like the ladies to have a bit of a rough edge to them do you Dave? No, your mum put me off that kind of shit. [/moron] Didn't have you down for necrophilia... takes all sorts I s'pose
-
Had you down as a waxer tbh I'm suprised he has the need to yet tbh.... Ive seen a picture of you and youre hardly the epitome of masculinity yourself! It's like shooting fish in a barrel

you want to try having a season ticket, it feels like this every week. On a serious note I dread to think what that is like... The only real comparisons I can think of is 88/89 and 91/92 both of which seasons I was a season ticket holder for. Difference back then was though that the players really were shite and were playing to the level of their own abilities - while frustrating, you kinda knew you couldn't ask for any more. In Beye, Cacapa, Butt, Smith & Owen we have proven 'winners' but the team are playing like a bunch of amateurs.

I'll be there and for the first time ever I'm actually dreading going to a match - don't think it matters what team Rafa puts out, whatever we put out will be woefully inadequate IMO. Thing that really fucks me off is we've got the players with the ability, they're just not performing...
