Having just read through that thread, is it any different to how we all were when Keegan came back to us last year?? Yet we were deluded??

The scousers have been going on about Dalglish going back for about 2-3 years now. Wishful thinking on all their parts.

Although he did pretty woeful in his time as manager here he did sign some fantastic players (Solano, Speed, Given, Hamman etc), without which we probably would have already been relegated at some point in the last decade. Second place in the league, an FA Cup Final, first manager to guide us into the Champions League and managed us when we beat Barcelona. All within 18 months. Aye, he was fucking gash like, wasn't he?

Lets not forget Sam's always had a chip on his shoulder about Rafa. Remember his outburst shortly after he became our manager?

Like I said in the other thread, he was in the midst of giving his players a bollocking and then they go and score. This gesture to me was aimed at his players in a "i'll shut up!" manner rather than directed to the Blackburn bench Ferguson is a fucking tit for even getting involved but we all know he is anyway. He did it to Keegan, he did it to Wenger and he did it to Mourinho. No surprise really that it's the 4 managers who have threatened Man Utd's position during the Premier League years. You had a point with the flag. You can get fucking stuffed if you think we're changing everything on this forum just to suit you though... And therein lies your problem. You either make the same rules for everyone or ditch them all together. Wacky and the other fellas avatars are more offensive than anything Stevie has been quoted on. So what are you going to be? A board free of r@cism, or a board free to do / say what they please. Somewhere in between as previously stated. As Alex alludes too perhaps we should close the Films thread seeing as there's quite a few in there that dramatises the second world war and what went on. The flag choices are something we as the admin can control. We're not about to vet avatar choices on an individual basis. It goes to prove that he could have waited til the end of the season although as stated previously, I don't think it was necessarily his decision to make.

What is frustrating more than anything is that you are knowledgable and in a lot of respects are an asset to this place. What would be best for all would be for you to draw a line under what has happened, continue posting here but take note of what we've said and show restraint. It is unanimously without doubt what the admin team would like to occur... but the decision lies with you.
