Think it was indeed in that interim period when Suggett was in charge that McDonald came over.. Mind you, the other signing Suggett made was a damn sight better - anyone remember who that was?
-
Hope you have a good one mate

Stimson is now manager at Grays and made some comment the other week about 'how he himself never made it to the big end of the league' Can't believe none of you have mentioned Rob McDonald tbh. Now there was a pile of shite!

I don't doubt Mr Nixon is a well respected, quality journalist and that the editor of his rag thoroughly checks the integrity of each 'story' before he decides to run with them, however... There is one small niggle which was pointed out to me which I'd love him to answer... Albert Luque signed for Newcastle United in August 2005 when the 2005/06 season had already begun. How can he possibly move onto another club next month when transfer legislation prevents a player moving twice in the same season?

Aye, but Alex was talking about your admin status rather than moderator so ner-ner!

If the predictions I've lobbed into the spreadsheet come true then they will. The way I worked it out for them was: Sunderland (A) Win 2-0 Middlesbrough (H) Win 1-0 Manchester United (A) Lose 2-1 Liverpool (H) Draw 1-1 Blackburn Rovers (A) Win 2-1 Manchester City (H) Draw 1-1 Portsmouth (A) Win 2-1 Wigan Athletic (H) Win 2-0 Arsenal (A) Win 2-1 Fulham (H) Win 1-0 Newcastle United (A) Draw 1-1 West Ham United (H) Win 1-0 Sunderland (H) Win 2-0 Middlesbrough (A) Draw 2-2 Manchester United (H) Draw 1-1 Liverpool (A) Lose 2-0 Chelsea (H) Lose 1-0 West Bromwich Albion (A) Draw 1-1 Charlton Athletic (H) Win 2-0 Tottenham Hotspur (A) Draw 2-2 Birmingham City (H) Win 1-0 With perhaps the exception of the Arsenal result, I don't think they're too unrealistic tbh.

I often read this section down the right hand side and this story caught my eye (don't remember hearing about it at the time though ) Ref with a sense of humour failure tbh.

Darren McDonough next tbh.

Computer-Aided Engineering Admittedly that was all CAD/CAM and fuck all to do with what I do know but that's beside the point...

Not got too much time on my hands, I'm just using the prediction spreadsheet which I did a post about ages ago. 69771 Oh I see, project managing applications, so you are not a saddo at all, your job is actually really really impressive 69817 Nope, it's as sad as the come unfortunately... Only narrowly beaten for geekiness by accountancy tbh 69916 Chartered accountancy if you please. I'm a professionally qualified geek, you're merely an amateur. 69925 Professionally qualified bean-counter? Professional qualified engineer over here thank you very much - I have a 'proper' qualification

And even more to how he'll determine why both Barca and Real would be interested in someone so shite!

Happy birthday mate

I've read that 4 times and am still looking for the humour... Oh and GF - - this what you were looking for?

Shows what a complete twat the bloke writing this really is... In the same sentence he calls him a flop and then says both Barcelona and Real Madrid want him! Not worth the discussion tbh, he's going nowhere...

No, yours is fine. 69619 How about Wacky's avatar? EDIT: actually it might be more to do with the context of Wacky's first post on that page. Dunno if your mimesweeper filters on text content or not...

Considering we're only 6 points off a Champions League place with 63 still up fro grabs, I think that statement is a tiny bit premature tbh. I don't personally think we will qualify for the CL this season but I don't think it's realistic yet to say that we won't. 69509 I agree, I think I chose the wrong words. It's definitely realistic from a mathematical or statistical point of view - but then you could say the same about every team in the top half of the table. I just can't see us winning games (let alone playing well) on a consistent basis under Souness, which is what we have to do to finish 4th. It's like some of the players said, we need to go on a run the same way Liverpool did. 69617 I'm putting my optimistic hat on here, but I think with the exception of Liverpool (A), Tottenham (A) & Man City (A), we should be looking to get maximum points on all games up until we go to Old Trafford on 11th March, given current form (I don't think we will get maximum points in these games before someone starts picking away at my predicitions thread, but I think the following games should all be targeted for 3 points): Charlton (H) Middlesbrough (H) Fulham (A) Blackburn (H) Portsmouth (H) Aston Villa (A) Everton (H) Bolton (H) that's a potential 24 points up for grabs which would stick us on 49 with another 27 left to play for. Course, if we fuck up the next part of the season, we can kiss goodbye to Europe...

Actually LP, it could well be the gamercard pic that you've got in your sig. Some web-filtering software reads the site hosting that image as a games site...
