1. Souness for Real Madrid!!!!! Well they did appoint Toshack a few years ago so they have a history of appointing Liverpool legends who turned into shit managers.... You never know!
2. In a twist of irony though, the KK 'dynasty' was brought to an end by consortium of greedy businessmen who were more focused on floating the club on the stock exchange, than ensuring that success by continuity occurred. IMO, from a footballing POV, the club has never been the same, or successful and I think it's as a direct coincidence. One of the members of that consortium? The very man who hired Graeme Souness........Frederick Shepherd esq.
3. Aye In our defence, well mine anyway, I was just winding everyone up... I still like the bloke though and will be saddened when he leaves, although happy at the same time. As I wanted him to succeed and I really thought, it would be typical of NUFC to hire a crap manager who no-one wanted, and get success from it. But then, the typical United that we are, we can't even get that right. 64381 My defence is.....I have no defence!! I thought it'd be more damaging to get rid of him mid-season than let him remain for a few more months... Wednesday night saw the wool being lifted from my eyes though - this prat has to go!
4. He he needs to prove, should do the searching!
5. I think you'll find most of them (like both you and I ) have been converted... There's still a couple of them hanging about on that 'other' forum though! Obi, anyone?
6. What story, the KK one? I'm keeping it for an exclusive man 64349 An exclusive rumour? Whaddya think this thread is? All the best exclusives are on Toontastic man. 64351 Aye but we have proper insiders on wor board. 64354 I'll have to take your word for it. Point me in the direction of the next "inside story" that gets posted, and when it comes true I'll believe you. 64356 Lee clark signs for Newcastle. Posted on wor board 2 months before it actually happend. Luque in talks with Newcastle. Posted on our board two days before we were even linked by the British media. N'Zogbia's hand injury, posted the day after the Wigan match then the media come out with it just before yesterday's match. Taylor's shoulder injury, posted 2 days (and the length of time he'd be out) before the club officialy released it. And many more examples. Even Dyer's real injury, the takeover crap and a few other things. Obviously we hold back on a few things. Not bad for a shite forum 64361 I'm not disputing them claims Chris, but can you provide proof? 64363 http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/...p?action=search 64370 That's a no then - you'll have to do better than expect me to search for it!

8. EXCLUSIVE: Alex entered the room and dropped his guts! You heard it first on Toontastic!
9. I think the only difference in the Premiership from 10 years ago is that we now have a club with literally a bottomless pit of money and as a result, they have the abilty to ensure they stay* ahead of the rest. * - I say stay as I think the foundations for Chelsea's sucess (Terry, Lampard) were laid before Abramovich came on the scene.
10. I think what I find frustrating about the present situation over those times you mention LM is that in those days we were shit in the management/coaching payroll AND the playing payroll. The current 1st 11 are on their day, and with decent coaching capable of beating most teams in this division with ease. Crap management combined with the unforgivable decision to dispense with the depth of the squad has made us shambolic! Get him out but make sure all his cronies go with him!
11. I'm with you on that one... How the fuck could he consider yesterday's performance "better"
12. I smell a conspiracy... Doesn't Barry think he's on the verge of a move to SJP? If Souness goes, maybe he thinks it won't happen!
13. The word in Manchester was that KK quit because he found the job too stressful. I'd suggest that the Newcastle job (currently) is more stressful than the poisition he found himself in at Eastlands so there has to be a question mark there. I'd love for KK to come back and make the same impact that he did 13½ years ago. The only reservation I personally have is that the fans yearned for many years for the return of Arthur Cox and when he finally did return (to the coaching staff), he didn't live upto supporter expectation and most were relieved when his services were dispensed of. IF he came back, his main problem will be that everyone, whether intentionally or not, will compare his every little move to what he did in 1992. Even by KK's standards, he set one hell of a precedent.
14. I've a feeling it'll be a bore-draw too. Hopefully it's enough for Fat Fred to pull the plug!
15. What's the point of free booze when they won't let you have the following day off? They could have least made it a Friday. St James Park for ours - a week today. 63903 3 years running now I've made that point! Doesn't seem to quell the steady (actually torrential) flow of alcohol though! The people who work away from head office prefer it during the week - that way they lose two working days rather than one day of their weekend for travelling! Tossers! We can't have time off because we're IT and a Service Department! Arse! 63919 If you're anything like our IT department you'd be as much use sat at home with a hangover as you are in work. 63927 The output the day after the xmas bash is tremendous! But they still insist we come in! Fuck knows why?
16. http://www.toontastic.net/forum/index.php?act=members In the criteria section at the bottom the page, select: All Members by Join Date in Descending Order with 10 results per page and hit the Go button. Simple enough, unless you're a cretin!
17. Take it that's aimed at me! 63918 Do you go to the games btw? 63920 I'm not worthy!

19. Gotta love it over there: Take it that's aimed at me!
20. You should know better to start on about being a sooperfan, Dave!
21. Which if you read further on the rumours page will result in Souness getting the push... A draw it is then!
