  1. Shelvey needs to play because, if he does get injured, at least we will have more time to get a replacement
  2. That was my point, but obviously not very well put.
  3. What, like the Pope supports Trump?
  4. Is that really an issue? There are enough sites publishing rubbish about potential signings that never get finalised. They simply report what has happened, not what might happen in some agent's mind.
  5. This. He probably should not have had his red card rescinded, because it was retaliation (as Rafa indicated), which would have meant him missing 8 games. His discipline is atrocious, abusing team mates and the regular kicks out at opponents. Colback is limited (to be kind), but Shelvey has the talent and needs to control himself better. Having said that, we should not be so reliant on one player.
  6. Hopefully they will get someone in who gets them up the table sufficiently so Fat Sam and the Mackems go down
  7. May be petty (I don't care), but I have had a smile all morning, when I heard the news
  8. I'd be more than happy for them to keep their club in Division 2
  9. Wasn't that supposed to be Bernie Sanders?
  10. This is what the FA, FIFA, and UEFA should be doing if they really want to clean up the game. Simulation needs to be removed from the game, especially if, as in this case, it significantly affects the outcome of the match. Still remember Mickey Adams' wink and, later on, Ronaldo.
  11. Maybe they will, now that they won't get the 6 points off us this season, which would in previous years have kept them up
  12. Perhaps if we he was to put in a transfer request, thereby foregoing any "loyalty bonus" *cough*, he might get a move to Palace to be reunited with his "beautiful" former boss, Alain Pardue
  13. This is just another example of people not understanding his track record. He glosses over the fact that, despite all the "attacking verve", West Ham tanked in the last half of the season, and their supporters and owners could not get rid of him soon enough. As for Sunderland dramatically improving "almost immediately after he joined", that was in October, and they finished 2 points above relegation - absolutely stunning!
  14. Will this not be the first time that Spurs will finish above them in the Premier League? That is probably the more relevant point to Arsenal fans, rather like the "top dog trophy" stuff from the makems
  15. Re-inventing history, without giving much thought to the consequences - Pardewed!
