Was that Pep taking the piss, to wind them up? -
Of course, technically, that is what Parliament is for - making these decisions - not that I agree with that outcome. FYP

And hopefully most of the old racists will have died Surely Bob Geldof on his boat on the Thames

I think Ireland may have been a bit complacent with their selections

That win against Spurs has really clouded too many people's judgement on the success so far. One point would have been a much more realistic position (after Schar's goal should have apparently been struck off due to Hayden's handball). And that one point would only have been as a result of millimetres due to Schar's clearance

There never was such a place. MPs are elected to make decisions, not pass them back to the idiots who voted for them in the first place, when it becomes too difficult for those MPs to decide which option is more likely to result in them losing their seat.

At least it sounds like the weather will be nice

Also the fact that neither UM nor Edwards (nor Bruce probably) would have expected anything but a thumping from Spurs, which is the only thing keeping us off the bottom currently. Muppets!

Has always seemed a bit odd that Buttler keeps in ODIs and T20s, but Bairstow in Tests. Not a good look if he picks and chooses where he plays, though. They both need to up their games with the bat, though, as opposed to as keepers.

Been a safer (as opposed to better) batsman, as well, this year. Never going to get a sparkling 50, but has shown he can stick around with a better batsman, which poor old Moeen has just not been able to do for a while. Sometimes that is more useful than getting a lot of runs - as at Headingley.
