I watched Film 05 with Jonathon Rossand he was interviewing Clement and La Frenais about it. If you do a real degree that actually means something then yes, if you're doing some bollocks degree then no as when you graduate you with one of them you can't get a job as alot of folk i know have just found out. And as for students there are as many twats in them as there are in any other demographic. I didn't bother to read most of this thread as its all been done before. At a guess i'll assume Grimbo turned up at some point ot have an meaningless whinge about Robert and will then not post on any other thread. Other than that how people can claim that if we finish above Pompey and Blackburn it indicates those 2 players are to blame is beyond me. We have spent millions to be better than those two teams on players like Owen, Emre and Parker that is what will make us finish above them. Its becoming quite clear that the reason Bellamy and Robert issues keep on goign is because of the people who slate them and can't resist digs start these things. Other people respond, but the "haters" start it and should give it a rest. Also Gemmill you don't want to turn this into the smb where somebody makes a stupid comment, gets replies pointing that out, then goes "Chomp" or mentions bites, fishing or boats, even though you were doing it deliberately!

You should never write them off though. Don't let facts like him being their best player, having scored and created nearly all of their goals get in the way of a bit of pointless Robert bashing Renton!

The papers are saying he can't play against us, which is good considering he's been involved in practically all the goals they've scored, as you'd expect.

And me, somethings suspicious here!

To me he seems to be a player who has control, technique and vision so will use the ball very well, want the ball all the time and can play a killer pass. He also isn't slow, looks as though he can go past people and can take set pieces which we need. Throw in a willingness to tackle and good workrate he is a big miss to the team. The downside would be his injury record and i think he hasn't scored many in his career for his ability.
