I was already 90% pretty much against the NUSC, but this has taken me to 100%. Seriously, what the f*ck are prospective owners going to think when they see things like that?

He could always make Kevin Doyle his first-signing as he's been linked with Spurs this morning.

good point that "It's got no place in life, it's a disgrace. People chant filth, it's nothing to do with football. There is a difference between banter and abuse. What happened to Sol really crossed the line "We're talking about awful abuse, some of this stuff is racist - it's everything. It's wrong and has no place in football. "How do you do that in front of your kids? What kind of a nutter must you be? What kind of human being must you be when you take your little kids to football and shout filth? It can't be right. - Harry Redknapp's reaction to Spurs fans.

What odds on Allardyce.

5 Non Newcastle things that would make me happy this season

6. Referees to start penalising goalkeepers when they come out for crosses, miss the ball, and take out the striker (like James with Agbonlahor yesterday). Happens quite a lot and nothing gets done. Same with when a goalkeeper jumps with his knee up. If a striker does that, he concedes a free-kick, 'keepers seem to get a way with it. -
True, we could go upto 14th on Monday, a point behind Boro & Sunderland, as well as Man City!

Since it's coming closer, a little clip from last week over in Greece to get us in the mood... Robert assist, Dabizas goal. -
I love the way the OP has a go at Viduka...then names Ashton as a potential replacement.
-
I think that clip might prove that one wrong.

People keep harping on about how he made DJ Campbell look a world-beater on his debut, yet I remember the first game of the 2005-6 season at Highbury where he was top-class against Henry. Didn't give him a sniff. All started falling apart after that Man Utd at home match.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=g5UID8Yvaik Although to be fair, not the greatest throw-in, goalkeeping, and it was a handball.

NUFC sale "progressing extremely well"

What makes you think that from that interview? -
That's true mind. It was only a few months ago the PFA came out backing Joey Barton afterall.

Did Keegan through the LMA comment on the "It's a fact that..." statement? Can't remember. Even if he did deny it, if what was said was false, then it wouldn't affect his claims for compensation. If what was said was true, then I can't see how he can claim anything.
-
Yes...he should take us for every penny he can get. He deserves it after all. Ruud Gullitt was such a mug for not getting hsi fair share of the NUFC cash cow really. People praised Gullit for walking away with nothing and slaughtered both Souness and Allardyce for hanging around for massive pay offs, but because it's Keegan they think he should take the club for every penny he can get. Laughable. No.. it's not because it's Keegan it's because of the terms of his employment. It could have been anybody in his position and I'd still maintain they'd have a right to follow the legal path. The three names you mentioned all left on the grounds that they were not good enough. Keegan left for entirely different reasons. In which case, why didn't he try taking the club to court for libel over the infamous, "It is a fact that..." statement? If what was said in that statement was true, in that Keegan knew he had to go to Wise, Jimenez, etc. then I can't see how Keegan has a leg to stand on, would he?

Just headed the ball off the Welsh lad to equalise.

Just been caught out pretty badly for Wales' second goal tonight.

His career has mirrored his ability. Agreed, top six player. You could say he was originally a top 4 player, so actually his career has regressed since leaving.
-
He left a club where he'd finished 4th, 3rd, 5th and 14th for a club who hasn't beat that...can hardly say his career has progressed really.
-
I'm sure if you gave Jenas the choice between playing alongside Fabregas, and replicating something he had done before the move, played Champions League football...or win a Carling Cup medal, I think I know what he'd choose.
-
Just because he left you to develop elsewhere there is no need to show such bitterness towards him. You got good money for him, that should be enough. Played for a move to Arsenal and ended up at your lot...bet he's gutted with how his career's panned out deep down.

Alex is the experienced partner Stevie Taylor has been shouting out for.
