  1. It's all coming out now I bet ewerk = Tiff Needell
  2. that cd has been in me hi fi since i bought it. i think its class I just listen to the odd track Its not bad but it doesnt capture my attention enough, Id love to see him live like But you like The View so I do they're canny, They are one these bands where everybody likes them at first and then they become 'uncool'. Im amazed how fast its happened too, consumerculturetastic, My housemate (aye that one) said when he got it ''yeh its fucking class' two month later 'they're nowt special like'' Happens with every band nowdays though. It's happening to some extent with the Arctic Monkeys. I really haven't liked The View from day one. I really don't think they've anything special.
  3. Personally, I don't care if the challenges are rigged so that they're close because that's not what I watch it for. It's the banter between the presenters which makes the show. It always has. Ofcourse, ewerk will now come along and tell us that they're all reading from scripts and that they weren't really in America on that episode.

  5. He mentions it 'Bowling for Columbine' according to wiki. It's how he managed to interview Charlton Heston. You titheed! Also read on his website a while he was going to run against Heston as NRA president (as a protest, obviously). What he does to Heston in that film is absolutely disgraceful, I can't stand the burger chomping twat. I'm no fan of Moore but I can't find fault with his interview with Charlton Heston. "From my cold dead hands." Twat. He did a complete hatchet job on Heston, that speech wasn't just after Columbine as it's showed in the film, it's from another conference altogether. So when he confronts Heston about it in the film (who has Alzheimers I think, as well), he has no idea what he's talking about. I'm very anti-gun but no-one deserves that. I think you're right when it comes to the speeches, it was canny misleading. I don't however have any sympathy for him during the interview. What, for not knowing what the fuck Moore was on about when he asked him why he showed up at Columbine with the 'cold dead fingers' shit (when he actually was never there)? He didn't make the 'cold dead hands' quote in Columbine (although some people may have read it that way from the documentary. To me it seemed fairly clear it wasn't.) nor does Moore say that he did. All he says is that he came to Columbine after the shootings which many people thought was in poor taste. Charlton Heston doesn't even attempt to say 'I don't know what you're talking about' or make excuses, he's already on his feet walking out of the interview because of the question about the NRA meeting in Flint just after a little girl was shot dead. I don't doubt Charlton Heston has Alzheimers but he knew well enough about the NRA meeting in Flint to talk about how it was only a quick morning stop and they were moving on in the afternoon etc. He's also shown giving an interview talking about the shooting which he later claimed to have known nothing about, although i'd guess that probably was down to his Alzheimers. I don't think he was stitched up, Heston began to dig his own grave by going on about "great dead white guys" and blaming America's gun problems on their "multi-cultural society". In the interview he seemed quite coherent until the tough questions began to get asked.

  8. I don't think so. In Columbine he compares the NRA to the KKK so I severely doubt it, unless he's promoting himself as a big fat gun carrying racist
  9. Bowling for Columbine - Been meaning to watch it for ages but the Virginia Tech massacre finally spurred me into action. Interesting but it really gets on my tits that Moore completely dodges the subject of gun ownership being the cause of all the shootings and focuses on society. Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism - A very good look at the Fox News network and their massively conservative bias when it comes to reporting. Considering it was done on a shoestring budget by a fair inexperienced film maker it's an outstanding documentary. LINK - http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=67...&q=outfoxed Farenheit 9/11 - The first half of the film is brilliant with some fairly solid facts to back up Moore's argument but the second half just degenerates into a farce. I'd much rather he kept on at the links between the Saudi's and Bush family than go to Flint (Where he was 'brought up' don't cha know?) and seemingly trick all the thick as pig shit locals into giving interviews.
  10. I can remember chants of "One Graeme Souness" *cringe* but there was nothing like that directed at Fat Fred. Also nice that he's forgot the mention the pantomime booing that occured when his name was mentioned during Shearer's testimonial. Straight out the Freddy Shepherd book of cringeworthy Geordie quotes that'un. I've read the full article and i've got to say, it's a load of toss. It seems Mr. Oliver has come to the conclusion that we need investment to break the top 4 but that isn't going to happen so we've got to be happy with where we are.
  11. So that puts you in the Unibond first division then? Only one league away from the mighty Heed though the way they're playing at the moment I wouldn't be suprised to see them go up next season.
  12. Milner is one in a million, one of very few players who can be called a model professional. He doesn't have an agent, gives his all, has stuck around after the debacle last summer.
  13. You're quite blatantly a closet bummer. You're almost in Narnia you're so far fucking back in it. Go away and play with the gays my friend because we don't want your type around here. Bumboy. Alreet Meenzer Skol m'dear, I've always admired your huge....ly perceptive Gaydar. Ooh Err

  15. His Dad's dead, his best mate has (rightly) been sold and he's been kept out of a very poor side, the side that he carried last year might I add, by someone who has been utter fucking wank bar about three games this season. If I were him I think i'd have a bit of an attitude problem too. When did his dad die? Around the beginning of this season IIRC. End of 2005 IIRC. I stand corrected IIRC.

  18. Just take a photo of yer cock and bluetooth it around the town hall. That's the way you usually solve dilemmas. Took your advice but it didn't stop them approving the plans completely. Wallsend Boys Club even wheeled out Peter Beardsley to give a speech to the Planning Committee saying how good the development would be for the area, even promised there would be no bad language what-so-ever coming from the pitches. The ugly fucking hunchback twat, hate the bastard now! Is he planning to bully them politely like?
  19. There's some right cretins on that board like. One lass is calling for the return of Shearer in a playing capacity claiming that Oba is shite and Owen is a piss taker. Wimmin
  20. http://forums.icnewcastle.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=117 Some good Oliver bashing going on over there. He's even got his own dedicated sticky thread to stop the board from being cluttered up
