CT to appear any minute to claim this u-turn is evidence that Osborne's hack and slash approach has worked.
-
Without spoilers, I thought it was a standard "what if?", but am I right in thinking there's more to it?
-
(See Renton, that's how it's done.)

NJS couldn't see a link between the Hebdo attack and "power". I simply suggested that if the attack was an attempt to scare people enough to stop drawing cartoons of the Islamic faith, those killers have tried to exert "power".
-
Took some effort to ignore/misinterpret the context there Renton, kudos.
-
If insulting their religion is so scary people don't do it; that's power, surely?
-
It is daft like all religions, so why are there no* Christians, Buddhists, Jews, killing innocent civilians in the name of their faith? There are plenty of Christians and Jews (and probably Buddhists) in impoverished areas of the planet that have been trodden on by the west, the east, the north and the south. Yet it's young muslim men committing acts of barbarous violence. Islam isn't the root cause of attacks like Paris or 9/11, but it's certainly a catalyst. *(that I know of, or certainly not in the numbers that Muslims are)

You have to take the coaches that have had their mitts on those players. Santon is clearly a good fullback, Mbiwa a good centre back, Ben Arfa has a certain mercurial talent too. Yet Pardew got shot of them all asap. No doubt there've been some players who've failed to live up to their billing, but I can't bring myself to blame Carr too much. It's been said before but look at the players we've given up on for the sake of £1m here or there; Lacazette, Aubemyang, Gamiero, etc.

U ok hun? Inbox me, yeah

Can I not just borrow one of yours? I'm assuming you've a few.

Xbox One and a few games, soundbar, some new headphones, new coat, and I'm now realising how much of a teenagers list this is becoming. Oh and I'd love a box of short smoke cigars, a pair of decent Whisky glasses and my Barbour waxed...

Of the major religions, is Islam not the easiest to deliberately misinterpret? The emphasis on martyrdom and the 72 virgins that are to follow in Jannah?

I'll join in the Catastrophe love-in. One of the rare tv shows that'll drag my lass' attention away from the Daily Mail app for it's duration.

Moussa Sissoko signs for Spurs for like £30m or WatEVA
The Fish replied to Park Life's topic in Newcastle Forum
Aarons wasn't fit, was he? And Thauvin has hardly been pushing him hard for the place in the starting line-up.- 1745 replies

It's weird because the french journalists say that the reason Sissoko gets in the France squad is his willingness to "do a job" for their manager. Putting him in the Milner mould of professional. Yet Milner has carried that professionalism through every club he's played for, never shirking responsibility or avoiding graft.- 1745 replies

Type "a long time ago in a galaxy far far away" into google and geek out

So you're again enjoying another person's hardship? Bit of a dick move, no?

We are, but I honestly believe we'll spend in January and I'm expecting us to buy a couple of Wijnaldums rather than an Anita. Overall the football has improved (even if the results haven't), and I think our level is somewhere between the excellent performances against Chelsea and Norwich and the horror show against Leicester. And that will have us finishing about 15/16th this season and 9/12th next.
