  1. Honestly, it's a combination of facing teams who can't finish for toffee, and Man Utd having sufficient individual quality to dig themselves out of games they're not playing particularly well in. 10 of their 18 goals have come from <0.11 xG chances. 5 of their game drawing/winning goals have come after the 75th minute. These late wins have come against; Wolves, Forest, Brentford, and Fulham. Games that a team chasing Champions League shouldn't really be needing last minute goals to snatch points from. Their form against top sides is awful, I know they beat Chelsea last night, but they've faced Arsenal, Brighton, Man City, Newcastle and Tottenham and have W0 D0 L5, GF2 GA12.
  2. Time for a non-binary pansexual, vegan manager? | RTG Sunderland Message Boards (readytogo.net) Jesus Christ...
  3. I don't have a problem with his video at all. Not everybody knows everything.
  4. Wouldn't be surprised to see Ritchie, Dummett, Krafth, Hall etc.
  5. It's horseshit. They're trying to inflate the importance of the result for us so that if they win they've really stuck it to us, if they lose it doesn't matter to them.
  6. There's too much red in your ledger.
  7. You read that in the Maltravieso cave?
  8. Depends who started the match thread and if Gloom is going.
  9. Reports of them being after Will Still. That seems likely, I mean he's 5th in Ligue 1 with Reims. He'll definitely want to jump ship midseason to join Sunderland.
  10. Could be the same thing my little lad had. Some kind of pneumonia-thing.
  11. Re: the Mental health side of things, I'd 100% agree that this place has been a help for me when it's got bad. I'd also echo what Renton said about physical and mental health being inexorably linked. You don't have to become a gym rat, a simple bit of exercise a day can be such a huge help. I know talk therapy didn't work for Renton, but it's helped me massively whereas pills did nowt but numb me to everything which was a stressor in and of itself. The point is whatever works for you is the best thing for you, and taking whatever small steps you can now, will help so, so much later on. Good luck with the job hunt, I've been unemployed for spells before and it's a fucking grind. Ended up treating job application as a full time job. Having a routine, taking coffee and lunch breaks around searching for a job, researching the company offering the job, tweaking my CV to best fit what that job is asking for, writing a cover letter and all that shit. Felt like I'd been productive even when the rejection came.
  12. I saw something where they bemoaned the fact that they only broke the FFP envelope by £19m Ignoring the fact that £19m is a fuck ton of money, that envelope is already massive.
  13. According to EPL Injury Table - Premier Injuries we have the following due back before January 1st Anderson Barnes Botman Longstaff Willock Wilson
  14. Which is fine if they've got a unified plan for a style of football from the youth setup up to the first team. If they'd released Mowbray because the manager they were eyeing as his replacement became available, then I could understand the decision. Getting shot of Mowbray must be because of a disagreement on transfer policy or something. Can't be because of league performances or losing the dressing room or owt, right? And if there's a disagreement on transfer policy then it'll be the owner wanting to spend their money on players Mowbray doesn't want, or not wanting to spend money at all. Surely neither is particularly attractive for a quality manager?
  15. Don't think we could register him until January anyway.
  16. Hobbling at the end of the Man Utd game
