  1. Is it not good for Hameed just to be on the tour for a bit of experience at that age? I would have played Butler instead of Ballance. Ballance has never convinced me and Buttler is already used to the conditions over there and was in great form in the ODI's.
  2. I don't see how bukkake loving is supposed to be an insult. We all love a bit bukkake. Don't we?
  3. Beardsley? Hang your head in shame.
  4. Didn't think we were ruling out the juniors that went before the official academy's.
  5. Isn't Gouffran's contract up at the end of the season? I can't see him getting another one despite the fact that Rafa obviously trusts him in this division.
  6. I for one will not be broadcasting. Fuck holding my phone up for 90 minutes.
  7. I take it you don't mean all in one go. If so from my time going to the game you could have; Forster Watson Taylor Howey Elliott Clark Gazza Aarons Thompson Carroll Shola Apologies for the sensible answer.
  8. Who would have wanted Pardew to turn up though? Certainly no one who was there with their lass.
  9. That's not something the mackems have ever been very good at.
  10. You just giving our opposition free goals now?
  11. He was outstanding against Villa and ok against Rotherham and Brentford which are the only games I've seem him play I think. I feel Mbemba is a better player and a much better long term option. But Clark looks more than good enough at this level.
  12. I think it's down to us. If we approach the game properly we'll win regardless of their form. And I think we'll do just that so I'm going for a 2-1. The problem is I'm going to this one and I can't remember the last time I saw us win away from home.
  13. It'll be interesting to see how much they do throw at January, especially if they're not much better off than they are now. The summer suggested to me that Short has them working to a much smaller budget than most teams in the division and they were struggling to attract players. If they're right in the shit come January, they're going to struggle to get much more than loan players in. Their best hope is probably another manager and hoping that he can give them a bounce. Of course longer term that's just going to keep the cycle of shit going as it has been and if they keep doing it, sooner or later it will fail and they'll be relegated. I've not really seen much of them this season but looking at their squad, I think this will be the season they go down.
  14. Aye Dummett is only embarrassing himself in about 50% of the games in this division. Fortunately the ball was rarely near him on Saturday because when he did get it, he was still sticking to what he knows. Passing back inside (to Clark now instead of Coloccini). I can't say I'm massively concerned about the away games being to 11th and 13th in the league. Anyone is capable of beating us if we don't play up to scratch but that's as a nice a run as we can ever expect to have really. I am in total agreement with you about playing two up front. I'm still seeing crosses go into the box without us having any presence in there looking to win the ball in the air. I think Mitro would get a load of chance and also help get Gayle even more than he's getting at the moment.
  15. I've never seen him play as a number 10 before this season. Whenever I've seen him in the past he's been bursting from midfield. He doesn't look like he knows what to do when his starting position is further forward.
  16. Aye I know. I just thought I'd point out that he's wank.
  17. Train To Busan. Korean zombie film set (unsurprisingly) on a train to the city of Busan. It has a few interesting new ideas for the genre and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Gandhi. I'd never seen it before and it was the perfect film while I was hungover and stuck on the settee yesterday. It's clearly a very interesting story and Kingsley is great in the title role.
  18. Neither of them got much opportunity. By the time they came on we'd pretty much settled for what we had and were allowing them to push us back. Yedlin linked up with Anita on a couple of occasions, enough to suggest he could play that role. But Lazaar had barely any chance to show anything.
  19. Really don't see any chance of him staying. I still think other clubs would look at him at that age and even if it's not premier league, I think he'd want to move back down south. I think you're overestimating Watmore comparing him to Long. He's just a ginger Forrest Gump. Last time I heard even their fans thought there wasn't enough pitch for him to run into.
  20. Defoe, Kone and Kirchoff would fuck straight off if they left. What's left beyond that would clearly struggle as they wouldn't have a striker for a start.
  21. I'd play Diame there if Shelvey wasn't playing. Clearly he's not the same sort of player but I think he'd do a good job driving on from midfield.
  22. Personally I thought Diame played ok against Rotherham. On the ball he was very good, the problem in that game and in others, has been that he can't seem to get involved in the game enough in position. Perez knows how to play the position better and was getting involved, but he was (aside from about ten minutes in the first half when we scored the two goals) terrible on the ball. Which is what he's been like all season apart from the QPR game. It was getting worse and worse throughout the match too. I think it's a bit of a problem for Rafa because for me, Perez is the only number 10 we have, so if he wants us to play with one Perez needs to be a lot better than he has been so far. If he can't be then we need to look to play slightly differently. For me we should, at home at least, play with Mitro along with Gayle. Of course we're second top of the league and comfortably beating most teams without Diame or Perez playing well in the number 10 position, so how much of a problem it is, is debatable.
