Newcastle United's useless set of glue sniffing cockwombles vs Spurs
David Kelly replied to Tom's topic in Newcastle Forum
Aye me too. Tickets already on the DD. Losing Rafa is going to be a much bigger cunt than going down. -
Really liking the new Radiohead album (no surprise there).

Was ok. I enjoyed the first one but I wouldn't be keen to watch the second one again. -

Civil War is at least forty five minutes too long. The first hour drags despite all the action. It picks up when Spider-Man appears and I enjoyed it from then onwards. Certainly not the best marvel film. Not even sure it's better than the last avengers. -
Radioheads new album comes out on Sunday.

Aye the threat of the accents put me off for quite a while but they're not as bad as I feared.
-
Aye it was good although after blitzing through the first two seasons last summer I was struggling to remember who half the people were or where everything was up to. Nice use of You & Who's Army at the end of the episode.

Close but Arya is in Bravos you tit.

Aye I watched the first episode of Breaking Bad the other week when I couldn't sleep and remembered you were into all of the colour stuff. I much prefer GOT. There's only really this and Twin Peaks I've ever looked at in any sort of detail. Breaking Bad, The Sopranos and The Wire are definitely some of my favourite shows though.

Jesus christ. There's loads of theories I've read up on and the people who have put them out there are really serious and do a lot of research into them. I couldn't be arsed with that but most of them are quite well thought out and pretty sensible. But that is absolutely ridiculous and someone who has far too much time on their hands.
-
I've watched it all a couple of times at least and read all the books at least once each. But I never had much problem keeping who was who clear in my head. Found it much less difficult than Lord Of The Rings where all the names sounded the same and most of them looked the same. I suppose it's down to how much I've loved it right from the start. I have a good memory for things I'm interested in. That's why I'm a shit accountant.

That was someones real theory? I thought you were just taking the piss Aye it's mentioned somewhere in one of the books that his real name is Walder but I assume they've changed it to avoid the confusion with Walder Frey. Same as they did changing Asha's name to Yara to avoid similarities to with Arya.
-
He's Walder in the books. Know what I mean?

Not read Clash Of Kings for a couple of years but I thought the lass holding a Targaryian baby in drangon tits vision was supposed to Raegar's dornish missus holding Aegon. I might be getting confused with another part of what she saw in the house of the undying like.

Even ignoring how unlikely it is to have someone taking Simpsons route to the title again, he was a useful if limited player for us. These two were very rarely close to being useful. I'm not sure what benefit it is to us allowing to go a couple of months early like, unless we've agreed to pay them a bit less that they were due in return for paying them early.
-
The answer to that is clearly no.
-
That would be in keeping with the whole flow of the story so far. Whenever anyone is looking for anyone else they always get there to find the other person is gone.

Well Bran finding out about Jon could be the impetus there. He's happy where he is at the minute but him realising Jon's importance could spur him to head for the wall (or wherever Jon is at that time). I reckon that's not likely to happen before the end of this season though. At some point I think they have to bring Bran and Arya back to Westeros or they're not really going to be able to have any impact in the end game.
-
Yeah for now so it's not a game changer to where things are to the population of Westeros. But it's a game changer for the audience.
-
I think Hodor would work as someone the people find more attractive than Tyrion so she's not unthinkable.

Think they might confirm that this season. The next episode is supposed to have the tower of joy scene (where Ned and his mates including Howland Reed go and rescue Lyanna from the kingsguard but find her in a bed of blood). We might get confirmation of the promise that Ned made to her (the suspicion being that it was to look after her son Jon and keep his Targaryan parentage hidden from Robert). I think they're probably more likely to drag it out so we just see them fighting this episode and Ned speak to Lyanna further down the line.
