  1. I thought Lascelles, Anita & Mbemba (all three could possibly be part of our first choice back four next season) were all excellent but Tiote was MOM by some distance. He was fucked by the end but he put a hell of a shift in. It's ridiculous that they couldn't show this kind of fight earlier. Maybe it's Rafa shaking things up that's got them realising they actually need to fight for a place on the team sheet. I was in the Milburn last night rather than my usual seat in the east stand so I could see Rafa close up just in front of me. It was very noticable how much he was giving instructions to the back four in particular. It's a world away from McClaren standing there with a blank look on his face. Their goal was so ridiculous it's unreal. How can a linesman not see a player standing a yard offside and not making any attempt to move onside. It's not like he had to look for him running past the back four. Unbelievable.
  2. I think anything from tonight would be a massive bonus. Win and we're out of the bottom three and we definitely have a chance. A narrow loss and we still have a slim hope but we'd need to beat Palace and Villa and one of Liverpool or Spurs. I really dont see us winning either of those two unless Spurs have lost the chance of the league by then.
  3. I never try to watch our matches on it as I'm always either there or watching it the local. The bloke at work has told me a few times that he's struggled to get decent streams. He is in his 60's though and not massively savy with these things so I think he could probably find better if he had the skills to search about a bit. I can usually find a good quality link of any match I want to watch and have never had a problem with the cricket. But for me it's really films and TV shows that I use it most for and I never have any problems. As I never had sky sports or movies to begin with it's all a bonus for me. It's not stopped me for paying for anything other than DVD/Bluray. I have a season ticket, still go to the cinema regularly and I pay my licence so I have zero guilt.
  4. Collymore is a complete prick at the best of times. But then add in that he's working for talkshite and you know that all he's going to is try and be controversial. Not that calling Lescott a tit is very controvsial at the minute.
  5. It all depends on what streams are available. Last week I watched the champions and europa league games on Fox Sport (added bonus of no Michael Owen) and they were HD with no buffering at all. The stream I watched the last five minutes of the Arsenal game yesterday wasn't quite HD but a decent SD. For the cricket you can usually get much better streams of Sky than you can with football. It's pretty much HD a lot of the time and always very watchable. Given that with cricket there's not the contant movement that there is with football, worse quality streams often look better. It's never quite as good as what you'll get if you pay for it though whereas for watching TV Shows and Films I would say it is.
  6. Depends on your expectations. If you want access to pretty much any film or tv program ever made at whatever time you want to watch them, it's first class. If you expect live tv to come through at the same quality and reliability that you get from Sky, you're going to be disapointed. Other than football and Cricket, I barely watch any live tv anymore and I never paid for the sports channels anyway so it's perfect for me.
  7. I've actually got a 1080 in me bedroom but I've never found any porn 1080 links so it's a waste of time. Probably linked to the above, my eyesights not good enough to see the difference between 720 and 1080 so I'm not about to splash out hundreds on a new telly when the one I have works fine. And thank fuck you're not a moderator Gem, fuck knows what state this place would be in if you were!
  8. My tv isn't 1080 anyway so the standard HD is fine for me. And I had the same experience HMHM. Content concerns me much more than getting the absolute best quality picture and I've never found the quality increase on most HD that much better than SD so I'm more than happy with what I get from the HD links.
  9. Can't say I'm massively concerned about either of them being out. I wouldn't be at all surprised if what Alex heard about Colo is true and Janmaat has been terrible recently.
  10. Yes I remember reading that. It seems clear that he's not impressing Rafa and given that he's only here on loan, there's no incentive for Rafa to try with him.
  11. I stopped reading at that point.
  12. Certainly. If it was McClaren still picking the team we'd be screaming for Doumbia to get a game but if Rafa doesn't want to even put him on the bench them I'm sure there must be something wrong with him.
  13. Yes but that hasn't worked incredibly well has it? Given that I'd like to see if Rafa could get Mitro and Cisse working in partnership. Epecially since Rafa seems to be wanting to give Cisse a chance. I'd have also like to see if Doumbia and Mitro could have worked but clearly Rafa is seeing something he doesn't like in Doumbia so I doubt that will happen.
  14. Aye, Mitro would have someone with him that he could look for and Cisse could be looking to work off him.
  15. He was maybe slightly better. Whether that was down to him being captain or playing more centrally I don't know but I certainly wouldn't be raving about his performance.
  16. I can't see it happening but I think we're even less likely to get anything from the bin dippers or Spurs last day.
  17. Since Exodus was released I've had no need for the Real Debrid account. I'd tried it for a month and it was pretty decent but I never have an problems getting HD links from Exodus so I've not bothered renewing.
  18. Aye that could quite easily wipe out the six goal swing from the weekend.
  19. Biggest hope is that they rest De Bruyne. He's only just come back from injury and this would be his third game in a week so it's a reasonable posibility that he might not start. Aguero might be rested too and hopefully they won't risk Kompany and Yaya will have one of his games where he looks like a memeber of the Ameobi family rather than the Toure.
  20. I said in some thread last week that the goal difference wasn't a problem at all if we won some games. Turns out all it took to virtually wipe out the difference was one round of games. Sunderland's is a bigger issue.
  21. If we win we'll have a better goal difference (or at least goals scored). Either way we're still only 3 points behind them.
  22. Cisse simply can't play the lone striker role. I don't think Mitro is great at it either (although he might better with experience)but he's better than Cisse. I thought Cisse put a decent shift in on Saturday without really acheiving anything other than that nice flick on for Colback. I'd prefer to see the two of them given a go together.
