I'd be very happy to see Aarons sign a new contract. He's the first player we've had come through the ranks immediately look like he's capable of really making his mark in the premier league. I hope he can keep progressing like he has and improve his fitness.

I'm enjoying the new Tame Impala much more than the last two. I lost interest in them very quickly. I'm liking the new Destroyer more though.

A bit of luck on injuries could have possibly got us between 6 and 10 more points last season. How high you finish in the also rans depends quite a bit on injuries. The season we finished 5th we had barely any major injuries whereas last season Taylor, Cisse, Tiote, SDJ, Aarons, Santon, Haidara and Krul all missed significant periods through injury.

I'm begining to think strawb is in fact wor Vurnon. Surely it must be past bed time in the states by now Personally I can't believe anyone would get shot of Colback (who I don't think is extraordinary by any means but is a consistent reliable performer) ahead of Satka, Dummett, Taylor, Anita, Bigi, Kemen or Abeid. Some of those players have never played a single first team game for a start.

Has he ever? I'm just hoping that he'll be fit enough to cover any periods in which Colo or Chancel aren't available. Especially early on while Lascelles gets a chance to grow into the league. Ideally I'd like to get someone else in but if we do sign Mbemba we'll have done more than I was expecting this summer so I'm not going to assume there's still funds available for a second big defensive signing.

The only concern from that game was the horrific planning from our administration people. We will never see that defence play in a competetive match so how they played is irrelevant. I can't imagine Darlow was full of confidence playing behind them either. I watched most of it this morning at it looked like we just wanted to get through it without injuries. Only really Aarons and Perez made any sort of real efforts. Arrons continues to look like a player and I'd like to see us get him on a new contract as soon as possible. Hopefully he can play a decent part this season. With regards to defenders I don't see us bringing in another after Mbemba (assuming that does go through). I think we'll be looking to partner him mainly with Colo with Taylor and Lascelles as back up. Williamson should be ditched immediately. As long as we can get through the season with two of Mbemba, Colo and Taylor fit for the majority of the games it shouldn't be too bad (assuming Mbemba is what we're expecting). We'll then have to look in January or more likely next summer to bring another player in as Colo will certainly be gone by then. Of course if he goes earlier that should change things.

I'm still enjoying it and if it had just been created as something completely new without the weight of the first season round it's neck then it would probably be looked upon more favourably but I kind of get the feeling they raced to get this complete with out knowing where they were going with it and they're trying to cram too much into 8 episodes. The next three episodes might change that opinion of course.

True Detective has been disapointing this time round. Never thought it would be able to match up the first season but it's just so complicated and Taylor Kitch's character is just one too many for me.

Robertson, Viana & Owen for me. Robertson had such a good record before he arrived and was absolute dogshit. Vianna was the most promising young player in Europe at the time and I remember him completely outclassing Englands U21's but he never managed to make it work here or really fullfil that potential. Owen for being our record signing and one of the top players in Europe but then not being remotely interested in anything but his pay cheque and being a cunt!

Williamson, Gouffran, Obertan should all be sold a priority tbh. I'd be happy enough with one off Anita/Abeid going too. Cisse, providing we sign another quality striker wouldn't be the end of the world but I'd be reasonably happy to keep him along with Mitro, Perez, Riviere and SDJ. Vukic, Marveaux & Shaney wayney must be dead certs to be shipped out too.

I think there's a fair chance we'll stick with the same side. I can't see more than one change for sure and I think there's a fair chance of it being Rashid for Ballance if there is one. I can't see much point in bringing Bairstow into the middle order when clearly that isn't the problem area. I agree the bowling was poor at lords but there's no way we're going to swap out Broad, Anderson or Stokes and Wood was as good as any of them so I don't expect a chance there other than perhaps the extra spinner.

I think that's just been down to who's been available. Same with Williamson. I'm certainly hoping so. Neither of them should ever play for us again.

I'm not aware that I've read that article, I was just going off when I saw Colo and Mbiwa together they were poor (probably not as bad as it was at the end of the season with Williamson but poor all the same). Both of them looked better when they played with Taylor (who for all his bellendary is not a bad player for me and underrated by most on here) and Mbiwa even looked better playing with Williamson than he did with Colo. I'm certainly hoping that Williamson won't be here come the end of the transfer window and I still think there's a fair chance of Colo going too. That's the only way I can see us signing a second defender this summer if I'm honest.
