It was too short for me (they could have spent more time with it if they hadn't put the shite scenes in Moletown and not bothered to add the awful subplot of Grey Worm in Missandei (although I no complaints about seeing her norks)). In the book he goes after the mountain with a 'death by a thousand cuts' plan. I don't think they really showed that. The head crush was a bit ridiculous to me too. The eye gouge was fine but I really didn't buy the mountain crushing his skull. The biggest miss was Tyrion vomiting when he knew he was dead. I thought the bit with Tyrion and Jamie was pretty much bollocks as well. They get away with it to an extent because they're both excellent but again the time could have been better spent if they'd had Tyrion and Oberyn discussing Tyrion going to Dorne when he was found innocent (obviously those planned ended up being crushed anyway but it would have still been a good scene). Sansa was the best thing about the episode imo. They're doing an excellent job with her character moving from being the stupid little bird to an actual player in the game. I think they've handled the Jorah bit well too. If they'd followed the books he would have been out of the show too quickly and I think he's been excellent in it. The Theon/Ramsey bits were good too.

The OFFICIAL Transfer Rumours Thread

Personally I think the best our defence looked last season was with Mbiwa and Williamson together. He's clearly not a fullback and doesn't look good paired with Colo but playing in his right position paired with another defender who's going to do more of the physical stuff he looks like he's got quality. Colo is potenitally on the slide and while he could potentially be top notch. I doubt that would ever happen under the clown who's managing the team though so we might as well cut our losses and rely on Streete or Good coming through and not being injured. -
Come off it. We all know you've got the Ally McBeal box set!

You need to stick to watching the same things as CT if that the case.

It would have been a nightmare if they hadn't gone on for a second series since there's so many unanswered questions from the first one. I just hope they actually have an ending in mind and aren't just going to drag it out like (I understand) they did with Lost.

As a Newcastle fan, what do we currently have to look forward to?

I think both of the last two scenarios are very possible. I suspect the first option is wishfull thinking. -
Think they're doing another series though aren't they?

Good ending to the last episode but the first couple of scenes were some of the worst I've seen in the show.

Three years isn't a big age difference if you're talking about 30 to 33 but it's fucking massive between 13 and 16. I've never seen a 13 year old that I've thought was attractive since I was about 15. There's developing quickly but you'd have to be aging at the same rate as that bloke in Blade Runner before it would make sense that you were attractive to a middle aged bloke! The fact that it was his daughters mate and he knew her and how old she was makes it all the more disgusting and indefensible.

Iain Lee's come a long way from the 11 O'Clock show. How he's not pissing himself there I'll never know!

We'll be close to signing him if we double what we've offered no doubt. -
That would be the best looking strip we've had from Puma going by that photo.

I'm sure the club will like that argument! -

They have done something. According to the chronicle, this Spanish kid has signed and they're just waiting for their league to finish before announcing it. It also says our hope is two strikers and Cabella. I think we've got next to no chance of signing Cabella since we're trying to do it on the cheap again and apparently there are better ran clubs sniffing around. And if that's all we're after we're fucked because we're already two central midfielders down on the start of last season. -
Shock horror! A referee that's' SHITE!!
David Kelly replied to Geordie Boyo's topic in Newcastle Forum
That's a fair point and another reason to hate footballers these days but there's still a staggering amount they get wrong and there still seems to be some referees who are much easier to con. -

The focus needs to be on getting rid of Pardew. Whether he's managing British players or foreign he's a usless fucking clem. We're going to be very short of positives whoever that fucktard is managing. -

Don't knock him when he's finally posting something that's not about the tramps! I actually take his point too. It is a pretty pointless table. If all of the cards a referee dishes out are correct then there's absolutely no problem with him being top of that table. But if he's regularly making the wrong decision (either in the giving or not giving of cards) then that's a problem. It's also worth noting that Phil Dowd (top in that list) and Lee Probert (bottom) are both fucking hopeless. As is Howard who's in the middle. -

Well that's cleared that up then. I've got it on DVD and I've still never noticed that bit. I always assumed he wasn't really dead mind. -

X-Men Days Of Future Past. Thoroughly enjoyed it (as I did with first class) but I don't understand how Xavier was alive in the future after what happened at the end of Last Stand. I've not seen the last Wolverine film so I'm not sure if it's mentioned in that. -
Footballers really are becoming the most loathsome collection of people aren't they. They're nearly as bad as the agents these days. It's almost enough to turn you off football completely.

I watched all of them yesterday afternoon while I couldn't be arsed to do any work. The David Blaine insult is bang on and Matthew McConaughey is brilliant on his. "What the fuck is a dick turd"

Am I the only one who thinks Haidara is our best leftback?
