The fee the press seem to be mentioning for Grenier is around £10m (probably still too pricey for us) but god knows with their chairman. And I think the Bale type money Montpellier's equally mental chairman was quoting was for if they were to sell them in January. In the summer it apprantly drops to a somewhere near sane level.

Well this is exactly what I was meaning. Although if our current scouting system has targeted both of these players I would have more faith that they will be a success than Luque.

Admittedly I'm going totally on stats, reports and youtube so my opinion on this may well be totally worthless!

I don't think it will be spent at all but I think a replacement for Cabaye is absolutely necessary and the stats bare this out. We are less threatening in attack when he doesn't play and we also conceed more which I think is down to a combination of us being able to attack less well and the graft that he puts in too. At the back we have, Debuchy, Santon, Haidara, Colo, Mbiwa, Taylor and even Williamson now who are all decent options. I would like better but I'm not convinced there's a desperate need for where we are aiming. We are desperately short up front though. Cabaye going hasn't changed that and when Remy and DeJong's loans are up in the summer and Shola finally goes we will be in a dire situation.

From i've read/manged to see online, that's what he looks like to me. And while I agree Cabaye has been pushed further forward recently, I don't think he was quite that far up. And he certainly got stuck in in the middle of park. Cabella doesn't seem to be that sort of player. I may be wrong though as I've seen very little of him. Similarly, I've seen very little of Grenier but he does look a bit stronger.

Grenier looks more of a replacement for Cabaye. Cabella looks like he's more of a forward (be it in behind the striker or out wide). I'd like to see them both but then again I'd like to have a 12 inch cock and be regularly sticking it the majority of the adult female cast of GOT!

With a bench of Elliot, Taylor, Haidara, Gosling, Dummet, Sammy, Armstrong? (is there anyone else we have who's fit?). Starting to look threadbare already!

I don't understand why anyone needs a clear indication of the clubs (sorry MA's) intentions. They are blatently obvious. And as we have Ben Arfa on the bench we can clearly afford to let Cabaye go (days before a derby game that if we lose it will be first time since the 20's that we will have lost three in a row apparently) and bring him into the team. Don't worry, we can still hang on for that dream top 8 place!

I think I liked it a bit meore than you but I pretty much agree with this. Some really funny bits but overall it doesn't really work. Possibly the least enjoyable Coen brothers film for me (although I've never actually manage to sit all the way through Rasing Arizona) and not one that I'll be dying to watch again any time soon.

I don't know why anyone expects us to win a game away from home. I know we've done a lot better this season but I'm still a long way away from expecting us to beat anyone who's in the same division as us. That said it is a winnable game but I fear another issue with Cabaye scupper any chances we have.

A Field In England. Least favourite Ben Wheatley film so far on the basis that I didn't have a fucking scooby what was going on. It looked great and the acting was good but there seemed to be a distinct lack of a plot.

I'm not for a second suggesting I don't want to see HBA in the team (especially now that there's Debuchy to play behind him who's now settled in to the league. But I do think Sissoko's also now a more than useful member of the team.

What I've watched of Season 3 so far is better again.

I think it would benefit Cabaye to stay until after the world cup too. Being here has never stopped him getting picked for France and he's settled in his role in the team and playing well. In order for him to be at his peak for the world cup he wants to make sure he's playing regularly for the rest of the season (something that's certainly not guaranteed at PSG) and playing well. Being settled here and knowing excatly what the manager expects of him here will no doubt help his form.

Yeah I'd seen him likened to Ben Arfa but since all of Ben Arfa's good games have been on the wing then I assumed that's what position Cabella played too.

Really? I've not seen anything of him but that seemed to be what people were saying about him.
