£8m for Santon? Not a chance
-
Really enjoying The Bridge. The lass in it is quality. True Dectective is class as well. The two of them are perfect for the lead roles.

I think it's always been for sale since he bought us. He thought he could sell us quickly and make a profit. Then he actually looked at the books and realised that was no where near possible but that never changed his desire. I just think he wants his money back now.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
David Kelly replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Can you just imagine the points or win % of anyone who would accept the managers job here now or that the fat cunt would think it was a good idea to appoint? I can only envisage it falling lower and lower. For the time being we're better off with Pardew, despite how useless he is!- 10610 replies

Pardew clearly doesn't have a clue what to do now. He looks as fucked off with the whole situation as the players do. There is absolutely no leadership at the club. When the second goal went in last night the only player who seemed to say anything at all was Krul, the rest of them just wandered around aimlessly with their heads down. Pardew stood there at the edge of his technical area saying nothing at all. But leadership needs to come from the top and there is absolutely no evidence of that at all. I'd be surprised if any of the players have seen Ashley more than a handful of times and of course we never hear anything from him. Every press release that comes from the club is completely forced and offers no insight at all. The man who owns the business doesn't give a fuck about it so why should his employees. It's us supporters who do actually care who are getting absolutely shafted. I think I'm nearly at the point where I would bouycot the matches if I thought it would actually lead to anything. But until there is an alternative out there to the fat cunt, I really don't see the point.

The aim of any self respecting actor surely!A Serious Man. Replaced Inside Lewin Davis as my least favourite Coen film. Quite similar in the way the lead character gets shit on throughout but without the laughs. Zombieland. Has there ever been a better cameo than Murray in this? -
It wasn't hilarious but I really enjoyed it. It had that same unsettling air about it that League Of Gentlemen had. I'm looking forward to next weeks.

So he's been suspended not sacked?

Dallas Buyers Club. Class. McConaughey's really on a roll at the minute with Mud, Wolf Of Wall Street and True Detective. Looking forward to seeing him in Nolans next flick. -

The Internship - As I expected it was very predictable and average at best but Vaughan and Wilson are always pleasant enough. -
Brilliant actor RIP

No it would be yet another embarassment to us and the final straw for a lot of match goers who justifyably woudln't be able to take any more!- 10610 replies

I'd be surprised if he doesn't keep taking more and more out until he can get it down to a level at which he can sell the club (which probably means getting it down about what he paid in the first place). I don't think there's another logical explanation for him still being here.
-
I thought he looked a bit slow and plodding and not particularly strong. Far to harsh to judge him from Saturday though.
-
Has he put anything else in other what he actually paid for the club?

Pardew clearly has no self respect or he wouldn't take the shit that Ashley gives him. Either that or the money is much more important to him (which is fair enough, many people do shit jobs for wankers because it pays them well) but either way it leads to the fans and players having no respect for him either. There's no way I'm going to feel sorry for him for that. But if he goes, I suspect our problems would only continue to grow.- 10610 replies

The plan is to keep us in the premier league but not be at all concerned about where in the league we finish between 1st and 17th (actually that's not true, they don't want to finish anywhere that gets us into Europe). They want to do that in the cheapest possible way whilst bringing down the amount the club owes Ashley to a level where he can get rid. Thrilling stuff for us!
-
Nah I've tried that loads. I'll have to take it to the Apple shop when I get a chance I think.

Season Ticket Renewal/Apathy - £25 Half Season tickets
David Kelly replied to Tooj's topic in Newcastle Forum
Your mate should have told him to sign some players. Sounds like Ashley's quite receptive when someones got a hold of his dick! -
Well i was never confident of this but this seems to kill it completely. At least i can actually get some work done tomorrow!
-
We lost any real attacking threat when he went off. Which shows we need more options.
-
He's also had most of those games in the last ten minutes of matches apparently so he's never going to have much of a chance to do much at all. I'm sure I heard that he had quite a few assists last season to go with the 8 goals he scored too.
-
This just seems too good to be true tbh. The thought of selling someone and immediately replacing him with a player who looks like he has the required quality we want for somewhere near what we recouped in the sale just doesn't sound like us at all these days.

What about Siem De Jong?
-
It's not actually. He only scored 1. It was Quinn who scored the hat-trick.
