  1. We can hope so bay citeh in the league are a different proposition. They've not lost at home yet and haven't conceded a goal either. Saturday remains a much more important game. I agree but going into it with a more positive state of mind can only help and let's face it, Citeh aren't exactly Barcelona are they. After all of the understandable hysteria from our recent league run we have to remember that we do actually have some good players still available to us. True. Shame about the manager! No arguments there.

  3. Great result and the manner of the result might make the lads believe they can turn things around which might be as important as anything else in our current situation.
  4. He didn't have a go at one guy though, he was gesturing to the crowd in general. And this came after a whole game where he seemed to be just going through the motions rather than just one bottled tackle. That said I'm glad he seems to have reacted to it in the right manner and his reactions at the final whistle were good. I still think he should come out and appologise though even if it's just as part of an interview about last nights game. It doesn't need him to come out groveling just to acknowlege what he has done.
  5. Aye the complete abesnce of anything approaching tits would put me off too. It would seem too close to shagging a 12 year old. And that's just plain wrong.
  6. Oba, did you hear that? Apologise NOW. I'm sorry. I do agree that Parker should apologise, I just think it's pandering to fuckwits (and some people who are just bit emotionally unstable at the moment). I'm really just ranting about why he has to do it; the money shouldn't change anything, he is who he is. And Carr should just apologise, that's got fuck all to do with Saturday, or even football, he should just apologise. Agreed
  7. I think I could put up with the abuse for 50 grand a week mind. Better biting your lip than biting the hand that feeds you. I can just imagine the rant about human rights on here if your boss had the nerve to say "I don't pay you to think, you cunt, get back to work", when you suggested a supply of fancy cakes by the coffee machine. Seriously, you're right that he should keep his mouth shut, but only to satisfy a pack of morons (Gemmill's going to have me for that). I'd rather live in a world where that bloke who made the complaint was hounded out of Newcastle and/or had his face kicked off for being such a twat. I'm not sure about Parker as a player, but he's clearly got character in spades and this snivelling bollocks from pampered cunts really gets on my tits. [/rant (probably)] People are genuinely upset Oba that this time it looks like the club really is going to the wall. I don't expect Parker will hang around if that happens. As a captain, he should be leading by example but at the moment he really isn't. I agree reporting him is somewhat pathetic but everyone reacts differently. He should just apologise and try to get back to playing some half decent football. There's no point in making an already terrible situation worse. I'm in total agreement with you there Renton. I think an appology needs to be forthcoming. It is likely that there will be some who will boo him next home game and I think an appology would stop that. Unlike Dyer, Parker is very highly thought of usually and his usual efforts for the team do earn him a chance. I will be very disapointed if we don't hear anything from him though. Roeder words do nothing for me. Personally I've argued against people booing Dyer and Bowyer in the past so I would be hypocritical to change that stance for Parker although I do admit I booed him after the event on Saturday due to the heat of the moment.
  8. I agree appearing in the press is more than a little sad but and not the right way to go about things but I agree with him for feeling genuinely agreived. I don't think he was upset about him swearing or anything (he couldn't hear what he said from where we are) like that it was a case of being extremely pissed off that when things were going against us Parker turned on the crowd instead of getting his head down and working his bollocks off for the team. And the reason I am so disgusted about this is because of the way Parker has performed before. If it had been someone like Luque or Robert who hardly work their guts out for the team it could be expected. But I think we should expect more from Parker, especially as he is the captain. I think the whole affair shows that there is something rotten within the club at the moment which seems worse than anything we had under Souness.
  9. Sorry like, but he seems like wanker to me. People were absolutely devastated ffs What an utter helmet. I think people were tbf. When we are in a situation like we are the last thing you need is your captain going on like that (and it wasn't just one outburst btw, he came back for more then pulled his armband straight off as he left the pitch). As I've said before he has been spared any crisicism so far so when he puts in a gutless performace like that he should stand up and be counted not whinge like a little girl. To me this is far worse than anything Dyer did with the captains armband because we expect more from him. Not that I would send in a complaint to the club like.
  10. I sit in front of him and he's a canny bloke tbh. I think anyone who saw it was disgusted with Parker and I think it's a disgrace we haven't had an apology by now.
  11. It's interesting that Souness was lambasted for not doing the honourable thing and resigning when it's likely that Roeder will do exactly the same despite us being in an even worse position. I doubt Roeder will get the same abuse.
  12. I think The Soft Parade is the only one I've heard and it was good iirc.
  13. After one listen it's not in the same class as Moon Safari or any of their other album which are all brilliant in different ways. But it's worth a listen and may well be a grower.
  14. I think I've only listened to The Spell once but then the other day I one the songs came on a random playlist of this year and I really enjoyed it. I can't understand why I haven't listened to it more. Cheers for the Animal Collective recommendations too, I've still not got round to listening to Sung Tongs but I love Feels so I will give them all a go.
  15. Darkel's (one of Air) new solo album.
  16. I think we're crying out for a director of football tbh. Roeder is clearly out of his depth, but sacking him just creates the same cycle of events we've seen time and time again. Bring someone in above him, which will hopefully eliminate the need for FS to get involved in team affairs. I was working on the basis that even if the fat fuck had the intelligence to do that he would appoint some complete plank that would do nothing more than further undermine Roeder. I agree though if it were done right it would be an excellent move.
  17. Stuff like this pisses me off too. One of these six in ten years was Keean who was actually here for what? Five years or more until he quit. They are always twisting these statistics. On SSN yesterday the stated that we have had 9 manager or caretakers managers in 10 years. What exactly is the point in including caretaker mangers?
  18. I think we have to get another manager in and hope we can get a boost for a few games to get the points in order to survive. You can call it a short term strategy as we are unlikely to get any manager who would be of the standard we're really after. But at this stage staying up has to be the priority of anything else.
  19. I had some very un-Christian thoughts reading this. You're not the only one.
  20. I got us to 40. If I had done it Saturday night we would have 8!
  21. There's no chance of this happening unless he's been approached by our prospective buyers as .com have suggested. Tbf the fat fuck will have never heard of him!
  22. I thought Luque put in better challenges than either Duff (mind you he was wank) or Rossi. Mind you it all goes to show how inappropriate the service was to the front players the entire game when all they had to go for were challenges in the air against their 8ft centre half!

  24. I was thinking from one of your clues that one of them must be Animal Collective but I've only got Feels (which is brilliant) and the one before that and I couldn't find any album cover pictures that seemed to match anything. Wouldn't have got the others like although I do have BHP latest one.
