I always thought Winner was a twat until I saw the clip of when he was on that Richard Littlejohn (now he is definitely a twat) show. He really changed my view of him on that.

Any good? Liked the first (?) one. I've only listened to it once (and that wasn't all in one go). So far it's not hitting me as much as their debut but I'll give it more of a chance before making a judgement.

Thw whole back four were awfull and no one in front was much better. Solano had a game as bad as Carr. Personlly I think we would be better off to keep the same defence on Saturday and give them the chance to get it out of their system. What we need is Emre back at least because it's no good playing Pattison on the wing because it contributed greatly to us not being able to create a single chance the whole game.

Never been impressed with him tbh. Nobby is looking like a better rightback than him and we need to be looking for a propper left back not someone else who we can play out of position there. Would be a decent addition to the squad perhaps but we starting 11 places we need to fill before then.

There's a special edition coming out of Blade Runner in a month or two so I'm holding out for that. I've ordered The Haunting, Out Of The Past, The Day The Earth Stood Still and Frankenstein/Bride Of Frankenstein off Amazon today.

Natural Born Killers. I didn't really like this at first because I though Stone had botched Tarrantino's screenplay. But now I realize he just changed the emphasis to make it more of a satire, something akin to a 90's Dr Strangelove. Aside from sometimes hamming home the message a bit too much (like having Too Much TV lit up accross Mickey's chest), Stone does a great job. The acting is also very good with Tommy Lee Jones, Tom Sizemore & Robert Dowey Jr all excellent with their over acting.

I've looked at the games from the next season (my first full one) and I can't remember a single one.

I would stay clear of JVC ones. The one I have is shite. It's very choosy about which DVD's it will play and seems to fuck up quite often when I just set something away recording and the disk gets full. I would also suggest you are better off with one that takes + dvd's. Mine takes - ones which seem much more difficult to get (especially if your trying to get cheap ones).

Left back is the one position where I think Roeder has to be looking at spending serious money. When all of our players are fit we have Owen, Martins, Shola & Le Sib up front. Numerous midfielders and wingers and plenty of promising Centrebacks. But we have no leftbacks at all who are up to the job. I've heard Roeder has his eye on Bridge, Baines or that kid from Southampton.

Predator 2 is canny. Bill Paxton is good playing a character very similar to Hudson from Aliens. Not as good as the brilliant first one I'll give you but it's not a bad film by any stretch.
