  1. Hopefully we have finally learnt our lesson and will start to play football in these kind of games at home. We need to show that we want to win these games from the first minute and stop this small team approach of unreasonable carefulness.
  2. I'm sure he will at some point. Sam Allardyce doesn't die. But if he died he would get reborn as Chuck Norris.
  3. Those tactics/performances were sufficient to just beat mediocre teams in the Championship over large parts of last season, it's certainly not enough in the top flight.
  4. Thing is that you can claim once to be unlucky, but not three times. Blackpool, Stoke and Blackburn FFS
  5. I am not too confident. The team seems to do well when there isn't expected too much from them or in big games like the Sunderland game. Hughton seems to do very well to create a good fighting spirit for these matches. We're still doing terrible when we are supposed to dominate matches against weaker teams. That's why I am still unsure about Hughton as I have reservations against the style of football and his negative approach for these games. So I can see us fucking things up again after the recent good results and Allardyce claiming the manager of the year award afterwards...
  6. I'd rather resign Albert Luque.
  7. Load of rubbish. The ultra-generated atmosphere in the stadiums is tedious. The legal structure of most clubs is so that fans only have very little to say regarding the running of clubs. The low costs of tickets is compensated by annoying advertising all over the places. German fan culture at the moment is represented by self-obsessed Ultras. I can't wait for the day to get rid of these pesky morons tbh.
  8. http://www.journallive.co.uk/nufc/newcastl...61634-27353851/ What a big load of shite. Piss off Nolan.
  9. Rather now than later. They will just have played Man City a couple of days before as well.
  10. If it's a choice between Frankfurt and Cologne I'd recommend Cologne (as I have a regional hatred for Frankfurt I wouldn't recommend it anyway). Both cities have suffered from some horrible modern post-war architecture. Cologne is an old Roman and episcopal city with loads of roman sites and churches (with the cathedral being the most important). Cologne is also famous for its local beer (only served it very small glasses though) and breweries. I would of course recommend Kassel. Not because it is actually that pretty but it is my home region! Don't know much about cheap hotels here unfortunately.
  11. 2-1 Northampton. Even nicer.
  12. Extra time at Anfield. Nice.
  13. It should be good for the overall confidence of the team as well. Though knowing us we will fuck it up against Stoke on Sunday now...
  14. Man United, Arsenal or Northampton at home in the next round please.
  15. Never doubted Shola (or Parky for that matter).
  16. Parky's curse striking again.
