  1. Apart from Cacau it's only Klose and Podolski who were born in Poland, which is Germany anyway every now and then... Good performance. Hopefully Özil and Cacau have learnt their lessons about diving. Referee was correct about most things, Cahill's red was a bit too harsh but you always deserve a red card if you field twats like Craig Moore or Lucas Neill.
  2. I've got a really strong feeling Australia will draw 1-1 with Germany on Sunday night, looking forward to it to be honest. Any team made up of Premiership players can beat anyone. Look at Northern Ireland v Spain. Sorry Stevie I can't say I share your confidence, Australia are not looking good, the way the manager has them playing it's like that story about Allardyce and his team talk for 30 minutes about what to do when the opposition has the ball but when N'Zogbia allegedly asks him what do they do when they have it, he has no answer. Well Verbeek is the Dutch fat Sam You're not playing England though! Germany are there for the taking. Shame Isegrim isn't here with his 7 Germans could walk in to the England team comments. Tim Cahill first goal 9/1 happy days. Ah, it is this time of the year again. But repetitio est mater studiorum. Your side is good enough to beat the krauts, I remember when Isegrim said only 3 England players would get in the kraut side last summer Hand on heart I wouldn't have one of them, they're functional but ultimately shit. Well done on qualifying, and lets hope we share a group with the krauts and USA, that would be tremendous, knocking two cuntish countries out and you could come second. Unfortunately you don't remember apologising for suggesting I said it the last time. It doesn't get any more true by repeating it (and decrease the number of England players every time)... http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...st&p=549745 http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...st&p=634424
  3. Just on the promotion seasons, not including the back end of 91/92 when Keegan inherited the shit or the 08/09 when Hughton inherited the shit.... Hughton P51 W32(62.75%) D13(25.49%) L6(11.76%) = 2.13 points per game Keegan P53 W32(60.37) D11(20.75%) L10(18.86) = 2.01 points per game That's what really is bothering me: Just looking at the stats and records from last season is misleading and makes the squad and games look far too good. It's a really shame that the likes of Smith, Ameobi and Nolan as well as Ashley and Lambiarse can now say they did better than Keegan and his squad in 1992/93. Disgusting tbh.
  4. That would have to be the twat's epitaph. I reckon we see a lot of this shit next season though. First game we lose next season will be entirely the fans fault as we were expecting to win the domestic treble and the champions league, even though we're not in it, because we're so deluded and the poor players collapsed under the expectation! I was rather talking about sending out a team playing for draws tbh. In the end that's how we played a lot of away games this season after all...
  5. That would have to be the twat's epitaph. I reckon we see a lot of this shit next season though.
  6. No. Worse. TribalFootball I mean why the fuck would wenger spend 5mil on Nolan? Unbefuckinleivable. Tribalfootball do nothing more than publish stories from the rags. They are nothing else than an extended version of the BBC gossip column.
  7. The joke is so old that Craig probably already posted it twice.
  8. Tried this? http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/syst...d.htm#wp1050951 I think it's rather a case for the bin tbh.
  9. Mathematically, yes. But realistically, West Brom aren't going to score 14 more than us in the last 3 games. Mathematically we would have to lose games, meaning our goal difference getting worse. [/pedantic]
  10. Probably gets locked up for sexual harassment now though.
  11. Maybe he was trying to join a Belgian club, so. That Yougoslav team had some quality players in it. Italy/Germany too. That's Jean-Marc Bosman, who is Belgian and who wanted to move to a French club.
  12. Sums up the season. We are playing crap but are still too good for the opposition.
  13. With other words: Expect us to play a lot of dull and unsuccessful football as the likes of Bolton, Blackburn, Hull etc... This could come directly from the Sam Allardyce and Graeme Souness textbooks of football murder.
  14. A good rendition of "Get out of our club" would be appropriate now...
  15. Same almost everywhere (all over Europe that is). Too many people were (rightly) happy enough with the old technology with DAB not really offering too much improvement and it being too expensive for the radio stations. It might work with the new technology, but as long as the old technology is pretty hand not too many people with be bothered about trying anything new.
  16. If you could actually trust the club investing the money in better players it would be a win-win scenario tbh.
  17. The only comment I'll acknowledge will be his announcement to resign.
  18. Totally agree. Remember watching a pre-season friendly of the reserves against Benfield a couple of years ago and saying to Matt that he could have a good future ahead of him. Definitely should have got more chances earlier the season considering the lack of flair and pace in the squad.

    Herzlichen Glückwunsch!
  20. Now, all that is missing is Dave reading this thread...
  21. I'd rather stay in the Championship. We'll still play crap most of the times, but at least we're among equals...
  22. I'll get sworn in and start on Monday. Will most likely mean that I will hardly be loafing here in future...

    German

Damn, seems I missed all the action. [Verdammt, jetzt habe ich den ganzen Spaß verpaßt...]
