  1. It's shan as fuck of me but I saw a picture of her before and assumed it was Billy Corgan.
  2. I have the image handy from the recent N-O thread. Mine's shite.
  3. Hope you enjoyed it, CT. Happy birthday.
  4. Spot was great. I loved Spot the Dog when I was little so my dad spotted (aye) an opportunity to start me on football.
  5. Knocky 9 doors. The weird old bloke across the road from my friend's house caught us once and threatened to "slaughter" us, which resulted in that nervous uncontrollable laughter like when you're getting bollocked at school. I thought his head was going to explode. Obviously we continued doing it all the time. I think it was "tag" round mine but I don't remember actually playing it much.

    Cooking

Love Sachins, going there for my team's Christmas meal again this year as it was spot on last year.

    Keeping fit

I walk the cycle paths a lot so it'll be nice to actually be on a bike as you look weird walking without a dog. Always fucks me off at Dinnington where the cycle path just goes onto the road, usually end up in the pub at that point if we're out for a walk.

    Keeping fit

Nah fuck that. I hate being on a bus and seeing a cyclist pedalling away right in front of it. Makes me feel proper nervous. Where I live in Killingworth is very well connected for cycle routes so that would be my starting point.

    Keeping fit

I'd never bothered with the bikes at the gym until a few months ago but I love them now. Really feels like an excellent cardio workout and I feel like I've made good progress with resistance and speed since I started, I'm able to keep moving up the settings every so often. It helps that I can either read or watch something on Netflix on my phone while I exercise. Looking at buying a bike in the new year to get out for longer rides. I've all but given up on running, yet have just bought Great North Run membership to guarantee a place for the next 3 years so I'll have to get back into it at some point. Hoping the biking will keep my fitness level up in the meantime while I talk myself back round to running.
  10. Money to go towards a bike as I really fancy getting one in the new year.
  11. Horrible flashbacks to the gymnastics class I went to for years.
  12. Going to Hamburg at the beginning of March.
  13. I tried once and I think I came up with 5 of their songs that I don't hate, not a fan of the rest though.
  14. We ended up watching most of that with the subtitles on because the accents and music are all over the shop.
  15. That's my sister and it's dyed red. It's a similar colour now actually so I'll tell her she isn't bad.
  16. I always did like a fetching hat. Btw the brown stains are on the actual photo, not my clothes. I think those gigantic creepy specs in the background is my mam.
  17. Recorded that after seeing the advert for it just before Peep Show, hadn't heard of it until then.
  18. Had to check I didn't imagine it. The reason I ended up trying it is about a week or two beforehand I'd had a conversation with a family member about a friend of theirs who ate all their meals with bread. I think it was shepherd's pie sandwiches that started off the conversation.
  19. Thought Peep Show was good, plenty funny moments
  20. I bought a lasagne sandwich from Tesco once just because it looked awful. Obviously, it was. I've no idea if they still do them or not.
  21. I have read Handmaid's Tale, but it was a long time ago so I'm probably due another read.
  22. Margaret Attwood - 'The Blind Assassin' She's a great writer but this isn't a good book for my commute because there's too much noise around me to sit and focus on it properly. When I'm just reading it at home though, it's lovely. Unfortunately that means it's going to take absolutely ages to get through as I'm used to doing most of my reading on the bus. Currently I've read about 16% and have just under 10 hours reading time left.
  23. Scream, the TV series, on Netflix has totally become my guilty pleasure show. It's absolute trash but requires no thought, which is exactly what I need sometimes.
