  1. I'm more concerned with Hull v Man United. I've had disturbing thoughts for weeks about Hull picking up a win here. I think Bolton will beat them but we'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully we'll beat Fulham and that will be that! Also i think there's a real danger Sunderland will go down now.
  2. Aye, the only thing is now you can see us beating or getting a draw against Fulham now. Pretty much every result the past few weeks has gone for us, i'm hoping that doesn't mean we're due a kick in the balls and Hull pull a win out the fire against Bolton. Hopefully the confidence from tonights win will see us through. Also had £25 on us to win at evens so i'm fairly chuffed tonight Wasn't brave enough to put on any more like
  3. Is anyone else tempted to put some cash on us at evens? Or am i just being silly
  4. We've just been given one massive lifeline today... A Hull win would have effectively relegated us. One thing I would say is beating Fulham is going to be a big task, so we MUST beat Boro. It's still possible we could stay up on 34!!
  5. It's not inconcievable we could stay up on goal difference just by winning one game. Thats heavily reliant on Hull fucking up big time though. A win and a draw and they're probably safe.
  6. It's difficult isn't it. Hull are probably looking at us thinking we could pick up 6 or 7 points. Sunderland are shitting themselves as well make no mistake about it. i'd still take our position on the basis that we have 2 decent home games and the other teams may not pick up any more points.
  7. That pisses me off big time. Too many players these days don't care when they lose. I've been in dressing rooms that have been turned upside down after a defeat. Thats when you your players care and you'll turn it around.
  8. It's fair enough. How hard is it to get somewhere on time? I'm never late for anything. And they've got coaches and chauffers to drive them about everywhere. It's not like they're being asked to navigate themselves large distances.
  9. Above both of them? I can see us maybe beating Hull on Goal Difference. Best case scenario! It's not inconcievable Hull and Sunderland could pick up another 6 points each, which would leave us fucked. Chelsea and Man U will hardly be busting a gut on the last day, Bolton are not unbeatable and Pompey/Stoke are practically safe.
  10. Just in case you don't hate him enough, he's been ramming this as well
  11. Smart move. I wonder how the idiots who cheered him off the pitch will feel now.
  12. Our aim should be to get 1 more win than Hull and stay up on goal difference. That is all!
  13. West Ham beating Stoke was a god send for us. It means they still need to go out and win against Hull to be sure of staying up. Must admit i'm loosing faith though. I can see Hull, Sunderland and us not winning any more games. But they have the points.
  14. The pinnacle of his stewardship was downing that pint at the Emirates. The world's best players must have been queuing up when they saw that
  15. Thats my prediction. A stunning late winner from Colocini. He will then score a Pollock-style OG at Villa Park to send us down
  16. It'll suit our passing game. Main problem for me tonight is that after picking up some points lately a draw is a canny result for Portsmouth tonight. I think they'll sit back and we'll struggle to break them down. Hope I'm wrong but I fancy a draw tonight. So much hype.... it's a stick on 0-0
  17. Am i the only one with the theme tune from Terminator 2: Judgement Day going round and round in my head?
  18. Here's hoping Everton play as they have been lately, and Chelsea actually turn up and aren't in holiday mode. It's not inconcievable they could lose all their remaining games - They're crap as today's result shows.
  19. I love being right They're going down.
  20. We'll probably win at Anfield ending the title race as Hull send us down by beating Man United reserves on the final day
  21. My predictions: - Will will win 2 of the remaining home matches (we wont beat Fulham) - We will stay up on the final day by beating Villa - Hull will also survive, by beating Man United. - Sunderland will go down. West Brom will beat them and will signal the beginning of the end for them as Chelsea send them down on the last day. I think we'd all be pretty happy with that
  22. Watched a few of their games this season on Sky, what an amazing team. Always tune in to the Spanish game if they are on. Last night they beat Sevilla (who are 3rd) 4-0 with ease. Can't remember seeing a team as good as this for a long time. Valdes must have the easiest job in the world. He hardly touches the ball!
  23. I like your thinking. The old rats poison in the lasagne eh you cynic you. I just think an all night party outside their hotel, few accidental fire alarms going off and then 500 kids shouting abuse when they're training cant do any harm. Its time to become Galatasaray (just without the stabbings). Welcome to hell. I think about that sometimes in terms of our treatment of Ashley. We're far too nice! We go to games, hold up a couple of banners and boo a little bit. It's time to go all Italian on him, if we go down, or even if we don't. Lets start smashing up the place, set fire to his offices etc. Destroy the players car's, boooo!!!! We've had enough! If anyone sits near Ashley at the games perhaps they could launch a couple of flares at him as well?
  24. I like your thinking. The old rats poison in the lasagne eh
