Yeah I like it. I actually thnk you got the balance right. The sky while fairly plain is nice imo. You have the low cloud and rather than flat sky has that nice gradient.

Fuck me what a nightmare. First had to dig out my car and then wor lasses car so I could use hers for work (4x4). Then set off 30mins late and stanley was at a standstill right down to chester le street to the A1. So, I went another way through Causey Arch to Sunniside but same there with a lane being closed on Lobley Hill to the A1 etc. Gave up and working from home! So, thankfully having her car I went down the back roads from causey arch to Beamish and back here. In all, about 2 hours to go 5-6 mile.

I like this. Nice idea. I'd maybe have tried to see more detail in the castle. Maybe a closer shot of the castle but with the same idea. Yeah, canny. Nice colours also.

Ok, not keen on the middle one. I think the shadow draws your attention away from the main subject. There's a lot of contrast as well to a sun hit very bright wall and your lass in a black coat. Big shadow on the floor. The sun itself is largely to blame. Other two though I do like, especially the bottom one. Good sense of movement and makes the picture more interesting. Also even the little things like in the top shot she has her head tilted which is better (imo) than a straight posed shot. Not sure if I'm complimenting you or your lass here

Aye, from being unsure about renewing my stance has gone from that to absolute distaste in how they are running it. Didn't realise its now over a year since their last members meeting. That speaks volumes to me like. They can promote as many "good cause" things as they like but surely their most very basic requirement is to communicate and get feedback from the fans & membership. Stinks imo. and the more I hear the more I think their operation became an old pals act for certain elected members with those not toeing the line being isolated. The AGM in Jan will be interesting if people actually go and speak out.

I'd keep him. He seems to have stuttered in progression in the last year or so. I dont like hwo easy he goes to ground (not as bad as smith like) and seems to give away too many fouls. But, is he any better or worse than Williamson? I thought the latter started this season very well but I've not been that impressed with him in his last few games. I usually look at what it would cost to replace the player when deciding if they should go. In this case, Id say get him signed up and hopefully he can develop (too late?) or iron the worse parts of his game out. As this next game shows, we need four decent centre halves. I'd still give him a punt at RB as well and think he offers more than Perch.

Completely agree. Can't really say a slide has started when we've been punching way above our weight all things considered. Reality bites. What are you agreeing with? While thats true, what the table doesnt show is that we have had many of the so called "easy" games and home and yet have to play many of the harder games. We've also played Man U, Man City, Arsenal away though. Other than the top 4-5 we can expect to take points from anyone. We MUST strengthen in January though. A pacey striker to play next to/just behind Carroll is a must. Completely agree with you ending statement. that is a must. But, our next 3 home games? Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City. Makes it absolutely vital to get maximum points from West Brom and Birmingham away in between those.
